Pola Stankovic

Pola Tumarkin Stankovic is a Toronto based stage actor and a big theatre believer. After a long debate with her family of doctors and lawyers to pursue a law career, Pola decided to graduate with a PhD in theatre at York University. In 2014, she was approached by filmmaker Igor Stephen Rados and offered the lead role in an unorthodox and equally challenging film that calls for style and the strong foundations of classical theatre. She accepted the challenge, making an excellent transition from the stage to the screen, and left a deep mark with her performance in her first feature film, Nursery Rhyme of a Madman.
