Julia Rickert

Julia Rickert is a 6'4" whole lotta lady with a personality to match!
Born and raised in Duluth, MN to two loving parents, Lewis and Susan Rickert, she grew up riding her bike and playing in the woods. She was expected to fulfill the family legacy of basketball, but instead of following in the footsteps of her brother, Minnesota basketball star Rick Rickert, this gentle giant turned her focus to a different craft. It wasn't until her senior year of high school that she discovered her love of acting when she got to be in her first play. She has always been happiest when making other people happy, so entertaining them was even better!
After working on various productions throughout the Twin Ports, she went on to graduate with a BS in Theatre. Using her onstage presence, Julia worked as a special event DJ and MC for 4 years before discovering her love of improv and a piqued interest in film and tv work. In addition to her acting, Julia is quite the song bird, experienced in singing both back-up and lead vocals. If there is karaoke around, best believe she'll be belting out a ditty and cuttin' a rug!
It was the tail end of 2015 that she packed up her '96 Ford Taurus and moved from Duluth to L.A. to pursue her acting goals!
