One of the most polarizing series of the last 20 years is staging a comeback.

Deadline reports that Heroes creator Tim Kring is prepping a follow-up to the 2006-10 series.

This time, a new crop of evos awaken and discover their powers after a solar eclipse.

The good news is that it won’t be rewriting history. It will share a universe with the original series and the 2015 limited series reboot, Heroes: Reborn.

Picking up years later makes us wonder which original stars could stop by for a cameo.

This is the second time Heroes has returned

Heroes: Reborn brought back Jack Coleman as Noah Bennett, serving as connective tissue between the two series.

No, you’re not experiencing déjà vu. Heroes really is staging another comeback.

Heroes: Eclipsed, a new iteration of the much discussed sci-fi series, is in the works from creator Tim Kring, TVLine has confirmed. Per our sister site Deadline, who was first to report, the project is set years after the events of the original show’s series finale and centers on new Evos being awakened and discovering their life-altering powers.

As hard as it is to believe, Star Wars: The Clone Wars finally concluded the story that Dave Filoni and George Lucas started more than 10 years ago with an episode that was as tragic as it was full of action and spectacle.

After the penultimate chapter, “Shattered,” culminated in Anakin turning to the dark side and Palpatine executing Order 66, Ahsoka went on the run from the 501st platoon that accompanied her through the Siege of Mandalore. On the bright side, though, the former Jedi Padawan managed to remove Commander Rex’s chip, not only saving her friend but also increasing her likelihood of surviving the clones. Of course, with Darth Maul set loose, the clones didn’t stand much of a chance and the dark-side warrior proceeded to blow up the Star Destroyer’s hyperdrive.
