Sumalatha organises birth anniversary celebrations for late husband Ambareesh
SandalwoodFilm stars Yash and Darshan, producer Rockline Venkatesh and other prominent film personalities from Sandalwood were expected to take part in the event.Digital NativeOn the birth anniversary of the late actor and politician, Ambareesh, on Thursday, his wife and newly elected Member of Parliament from the Mandya constituency Sumalatha organised Ambi (as Ambareesh was affectionately called) Jayantotsav. Interestingly, Sumalatha is the lone independent MP from Karnataka. Film stars Yash and Darshan, producer Rockline Venkatesh and other prominent film personalities from Sandalwood were expected to take part in the celebrations. The event was expected to begin at 2 pm on Thursday in Mandya. Sumalatha and Ambareesh’s son Abhishek also was to take part in the event. Last Friday, after the election results were declared and she emerged victorious, Sumalatha paid tribute to Ambareesh at his memorial in Bengaluru.
