Justin Carmouche was born on October 11, 1999. By 2006 he discovered his love of entertainment after starring in his elementary school musical. Carmouche noticed everyone left the musical smiling and that night at just seven years old, Carmouche realized entertaining people was what he wanted to do when he grew up.

Carmouche started directing and editing films at the young age of thirteen using his iPod touch. At fourteen he borrowed his dad's camera and shot his first narrative short film with his childhood best friend Roman Armstrong. After receiving great feedback from the audience, Carmouche and his best friend Roman decided to open their own production company and continue producing short films. At fifteen years old Carmouche auditioned for a Netflix movie and was casted the role of Zev August in "Class Rank." This success was a mental shift for Carmouche, he realized even though he's just a small-town boy, his big dreams are possible to manifest with hard work.

In 2017, Carmouche created his critically acclaimed short film "I'm Starving." The film was featured on National Television, and for the first time, Carmouche's work was seen by millions of people. The film was also nominated for "Best Screenplay" at the All-American High School Film Festival. Carmouche and his business partner Roman Armstrong went to New York City to represent the film, and watch their movie on the big screen at the AMC movie theater in Time Square. A Hollywood producer saw the film and was so impressed she flew Justin and his co-writer Roman to Atlanta to work on "Shaft". At just seventeen years old Carmouche was blessed with an opportunity to work with and learn from legendary film director Tim Story.

At eighteen years old Carmouche moved to New Orleans and began to work in the film industry as a production assistant. Justin's hard work ethic and genuine personality lead to him being chosen to serve as the personal assistant for Adam Sandler's wife and daughter, Grammy award winner Lizzo, and Taylor Lautner. In 2020 Carmouche launched a lifestyle clothing brand/media network called "DOBETTER." DOBETTER was created to inspire the world to be the best version of themselves. Carmouche is currently directing and producing a sports docu-series that follows a boxing prodigy's career in real-time as he attempts to become one of the youngest world champions in boxing history.

Carmouche is someone who never stops learning and works every day on perfecting his craft. Justin Carmouche has directed over seventy-five independent film projects of various types. He's worked with companies such as: Netflix, Warner Bros, and Hulu; and superstars like Adam Sandler, Jamie Foxx, and Samuel L Jackson. Overall Carmouche is genuine, hard-working, and a passionate filmmaker. He believes he has a higher purpose and that he was called to use his talents to tell stories that challenge stereotypes, inspire the world, provoke thought, and help paint positive pictures of his culture. Carmouche's main goal is to leave a legacy and create films that last throughout multiple generations.
