Hazel Beattie

Scottish born Hazel trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) and works professionally in film, TV, theatre, radio and audio narration/books.
Represented by 'Zenith Artist Management' Hazel has worked across the UK appearing in professional theatre, television, film and voiceover productions. A strong comedy performer and vocalist this has led to a range of opportunities including audio books, commercials, adverts, musicals, plays and films.
Musical theatre productions include starring as Mrs Lovett in "Sweeney Todd" and Miss Hannigan in "Annie" at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Hazel has appeared in TV commercials for 'Very' and 'Bafta' and voiced numerous radio and TV commercials including work for STV and Scotrail.
Hazel appeared with Vanessa Hudgens in "The Princess Switch 3" for Netflix in the role of 'Mother Superior', worked with Rylan Clark-Neal for Virgin Baftas, and cast as 'The Village Games Woman' in 'The Spirit of 1926' directed by Mike Newell. She played the title role of 'Karen' in 'Karen's Cuts' Comedy shorts for the BBC Social series.
