The slate for this year’s Accelerator Program, an initiative from the National Association of Latino Independent Producers that supports Latino artists with developing their film projects, includes films from Danny Ramirez, Sylvia Ray, Esteban Orozco and Alexis C. Garcia.
The Accelerator Program, previously known as the Latino Media Market, also provides mentorship and industry guidance to participants. The projects will be presented during the Nalip Media Summit June 26-27, and a jury will review them.
“The Accelerator program is crucial in supporting projects that are ready to be financed and produced—ensuring they are as competitive and high-quality as any other project out there,” Nalip’s executive director Diana Luna said in a statement. “We’ve seen firsthand how programs like these can truly change lives. Many of our past participants have gone on to secure funding, representation, and festival premieres. This isn’t just about access—it is about achievement.
