In this upcoming episode, the central focus is on Hen, a dedicated paramedic who fears for her wife Karen’s life. The reason for her concern is a terrifying explosion that rocks Karen’s science lab. What makes this situation even more heart-wrenching is that it happens on the very day she brings Denny, presumably their child, to work with her.

The explosion sets off a chain of events that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. As Hen grapples with the uncertainty of Karen’s safety, the emergency responders face a race against time to save lives and navigate the chaos that unfolds.

Goa, Feb 27 (Ians) As many as four Indian pairs qualified for the main draw of the men’s and women’s doubles in the World Table Tennis (Wtt) Star Contender Goa, being played at the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor stadium, here on Monday.

Suhana Saini and Yashaswini Ghorpade and Poymantee Baisya and Anannya Basak, were the two pairs who made it in the women’s doubles. In the men’s doubles Manush Shah and Snehit Suravajulla made it through to the round of 16 along with lucky losers Jeet Chandra and Ronit Bhanja.

Four mixed doubles pairs had already made the main draw in the morning session of day one of the two-day qualifiers. Day two on Tuesday, will see a fight for eight spots each in the men’s and women’s singles at the tournament hosted by Stupa Sports Analytics.

Goa, Feb 27 (Ians) Indian paddlers Harmeet Desai and Sanil Shetty made it to the round two of the qualifiers of the World Table Tennis (Wtt) Star Contender Goa, in contrasting fashion, here on Monday.

Harmeet, ranked 141 in the world, fought off a tough challenge from Englishman Tom Jarvis, ranked above him at 121, in round one of the qualifiers while Sanil Shetty (210), also won his round one match quite comfortably against countryman Yashansh Malik.

Harmeet lost the first game, but continued to be in the ascendency after that and despite a fight back by Tom, the Indian was able to close out in a tight finish. He won the best of five encounter 3-2 with the scores in his favour reading 9-11,12-10,12-10, 11-13 and 12-10.

Sanil in comparison breezed through his match, defeating Yashansh 3-0 in no time at the tournament hosted by Stupa Sports Analytics.

In the singles category, both Manika and Sharath Kamal Achanta registered wins over players ranked much higher on the rankings table to make it to the last 16 stage.

In mixed doubles, Sathiyan and Batra registered a hard-fought 3-2 win over Tin-Tin Ho and Samuel Walker of England.

The Indian pair, which finished runners-up at the 2022 Wtt Doha Contender held in January last year, fought hard to register a 3-2 win to set up a last 8 clash with Maria Xiao and Alvaro Robles of Spain.

Maria and Alavaro made it to the quarterfinals after defeating Adina Diaconu and Cristian Pletea of Romania.

Meanwhile, Manika and Sharath moved into the pre-quarterfinals of the women’s and men’s singles category.

World No 36. Manika, the lone Indian in the fray in women’s singles, overcame the challenge of World No. 23 Szu Yu Chen of Chinese Taipei 3-2 to advance to the next round.
