Animal Planet has adopted a second season of “The Vet Life,” TheWrap has learned. Now that their Texas-based veterinary practice has been up and running for two years, Dr. Diarra Blue, Dr. Aubrey Ross and Dr. Michael Lavigne have established a loyal clientele filled with beloved family dogs and cats, as well as farm animals and rare exotics. In between, the three doctors are fine tuning the balance between work and family life with their wives, kids at home. On The Vet Life: Texas Sized tonight – a donkey gets castrated, a rabbit is attacked by a dog and there is a puppy training competition. In this extended episode Diarra heads to a farm where a donkey needs to be castrated but it’s a tricky procedure in this case. The team also have to deal with a rabbit that has been bitten by a dog and another dog requires surgery to remove some tumors.
