Goth lovers are in for a double treat from Netflix. The streamer is set to drop Wednesday Season 2 in two juicy parts—Part 1 will be released on August 6, whereas Part 2 will be dropped on September 3. But as we prep for more spooky sass from Jenna Ortega’s iconic Wednesday Addams, there’s one not-so-little issue that came under fans’ radar.
Pugsley’s growth spurt! Yep, Isaac Ordonez had a full-on physical transformation, and now he towers over Wednesday like he has been hitting the gym. The problem? Only a few months have passed in-show, unlike the three-year gap in real life! So, unless the Addams family is feeding him protein shakes, the show’s gotta explain this height jump. Time to borrow a trick from the Cobra Kai playbook.

With Season 6 of the popular Karate Kid-based drama Cobra Kai closing out, series co-creator Hayden Schlossberg has taken to X to explain the divisive ending of one of the series' characters.
Cobra Kai's final season has finally arrived, and with it, several character arcs had to be closed out. Some of those arcs were more predictable than others; however, the conclusion Sam left many fans divided. Scholssenberg, during a QnA on X, was asked by a fan if he was happy with the ending for Samantha "Sam" Larusso (played by Mary Mouser), the daughter of the original karate kid, Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio). Fans were left surprised when Sam didn't end up following in her father's footsteps by winning the tournament, and instead, chose to drop out once she realized she wasn't fighting with any purpose.

This article contains spoilers for "Cobra Kai" season 6 part 3.
At the end of the day, "Cobra Kai" has always been Johnny Lawrence's (William Zabka) show. The series finale, titled "Ex-Degenerate," confirms as much, both with its title that nods at the series premiere "Ace Degenerate" and its plot that keeps a laser-like focus on his journey.
Despite this, "Cobra Kai" has kept expanding its cast over the years, often spending entire seasons to introduce and develop complex new combatants to throw at an established name. This has been highly entertaining, especially since it has kept things from getting stale, and these new faces tend to be quite interesting. Unfortunately, this leaves season 6 with a massive problem: Since comparatively few characters actually exit the show at any point, the final season is overstocked with supporting characters and hangers-around it's either unable or unwilling to deal with. It doesn't help that the...

Cobra Kai never dies in this new trailer for the show that continues the legacy of the Karate Kid films. Part 3 of Cobra Kai‘s finale has premiered its final trailer, courtesy of Netflix, and the show is inevitably taking it all back to where it started at the All-Valley Tournament. Imagery of nostalgia continues as shots of Daniel and his now ally, Johnny, both train in the crane kick on the beach like in the original Karate Kid and a trailer mix of “You’re the Best Around” will pump you up for the final round of karate combat.
The season synopsis reads,
“After a shocking result in the Sekai Taikai, Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai must reckon with their pasts while facing an uncertain future both on and off the mat. Almost 40 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, it’s all been leading to this.

On Thursday, Netflix revealed its full 2025 TV slate. The lineup includes the final seasons of two of its biggest shows, Stranger Things and Squid Game, and a second season of its other biggest show, Wednesday. It also includes promising-sounding limited series like Black Rabbit and The Four Seasons, returns of longtime Netflix favorites like Black Mirror and Chef’s Table, an overwhelming number of sports documentaries, and dozens more shows.
The biggest piece of news in the announcement is the startlingly soon release date for Squid Game Season 3. The second and third seasons shot back-to-back, and so the final season is slated for June 27, just six months after the release of Season 2. Netflix also revealed a handful of previously unannounced projects, including a 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina documentary that counts Spike Lee as a director, and a Long Island serial killer docuseries from director Liz Garbus.

Karate Kid: Legends starts a new chapter in The Karate Kid movie saga, but how is the next Karate Kid film connected to Cobra Kai? The season has highlighted his character Kenny Payne's complete arc: from being an antagonist in Season 4 to now a member of Miyagi-do helping to represent them on the world stage. He's also dealt with ups and downs across the first two batches of episodes. So what is all that like for the actor who plays him?
In an interview with Cbr, Young spoke about Kenny's role in Cobra Kai both changing and expanding over the years. He also discussed the importance of Kenny's relationship with his brother Shawn and one of his favorite scenes in the entire series. Plus, find out what he's learned as Kenny has learned and grown.
Cbr: When audiences first met Kenny, it was in a completely different way than how they're viewing him now. He was bullied and then became a bully himself.

Quick Links Who Is the Biggest Villain in 'Cobra Kai' Season 6, Part 2? Sensei Wolf's Backstory, Explained Why Is Sensei Wolf so Dangerous?
Cobra Kai is all about the villains versus heroes storyline. The initial focus was on answering the question of whether Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) was truly the villain of The Karate Kid or if it was actually Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio). The story expanded to focus on a new generation of karate kids, many taking the role of a villain through the seasons, like Hawk (Jacob Bertrand), Robby (Tanner Buchanan), and Kenny (Dallas Dupree Young).
Then, the series began to re-introduce other adult villains reprising their roles from The Karate Kid franchise, like John Kreese (Martin Kove), Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith), and Chozen Toguchi (Yuji Okumoto). In the second part of the final sixth season, however, a new villain is introduced, and he could potentially be the worst one yet.

The primary cast of Cobra Kai is back for season 6, part 2, this time joined by a slew of new faces. Many of these characters (and their actors) have been loved by audiences for decades since they first appeared on screen back in 1984's The Karate Kid movie and its sequels. Of course, Cobra Kai provided an opportunity for the likes of Billy Zabka's Johnny Lawrence and Ralph Macchio's Daniel Larusso to return with a handful of new young karate students for them to foster.
Now, with Cobra Kai season 6, the cast and characters of this franchise have grown even more. Cobra Kai co-showrunner Josh Heald confirms one villain who won't get a redemption arc during the final season.
Speaking to ScreenRant, Heald opened up about the current trajectory of Martin Kove's John Kreese, who is certain to avoid any form of redemption in the hit series' final season. "I think he murdered all of them," Heald joked of the character, who was last seen washing ashore in Korea following a prison break. "But, no, he forcibly exited a prison and walked into the night dressed as a maniacal doctor. And next we locate him, he's coming ashore in Korea, so he's resourceful. He's somebody who's got a goal right now, which is destroying his enemies."

Cobra Kai is set 30 years after the events in The Karate Kid. Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), sworn enemies from the first film, are both residing in California and run into one another again. Old rivalries reignite and inflated egos result in the pair finding themselves training kids in rival dojos. They eventually come together, and it culminates in the Sekai Taikai tournament that will be the focus of the sixth and final season. Part one of the three-part final season premiered in July and the second part is coming November 15, 2024. Production on the sixth and final season of the hit Netflix series Cobra Kai, a continuation of the Karate Kid film franchise, was delayed several months due to the writers and actors strikes last year – but the extended wait was worth it, because the show is wrapping up with a 15 episode season (previous seasons consisted of 10 episodes) that has been split up to make it a three part event. The first batch of episodes dropped back in July, and the second batch of episodes are set to begin streaming on November 15th. The trailer for Cobra Kai season 6, part 2, focuses on Miyagi-Do facing 15 brutal dojos and former friends at the Sekai Takai. With the decision to split the Emmy-winning Netflix dramedy into three parts, series co-creators Jon Hurwitz, Josh Heald, and Hayden Schlossberg structured Cobra Kai season 6 with the goal that each individual five-episode drop focuses on one specific aspect of the story.
Netflix has released the trailer for Cobra Kai season 6, part 2, which releases all five episodes on Friday, November 15, and it looks to focus heavily on the high-profile Sekai Takai tournament. In the almost two-minute trailer, which can be viewed below, the monumental occasion is clearly taking its toll on the main characters. This is particularly evident in one scene, which shows Miguel sobbing in Johnny's arms. The trailer ends with a character seemingly ready to use a knife as a weapon.

Johnny Lawrence, Daniel Larusso and their students are headed overseas to compete in the international Sekai Taikai tournament in a new trailer for “Cobra Kai” Season 6 Part 2, which will drop on Netflix on Nov. 15.

Do we really need a three-part final season of “Cobra Kai”? Netflix thinks so.
Trailers-wise, we are officially two-thirds of the way through the sixth and final season of the “Karate Kid” sequel series, which started way back in 2018 as a YouTube Premium show. Remember those days?
Since then, “Cobra Kai” has settled in nicely at Netflix. It’s a reliable series, though not an all-timer.
Now, in the Season 6-b trailer released on Wednesday, the Miyagi-do and Cobra Kai dojos head to Barcelona for the Sekai Taikai tournament. From Valley champs to world champs? Demetri (Gianni DeCenzo) doubts it.
“There’s no way we can win,” he says in the trailer.
Spoiler alert: There probably is a way.
On the bad side of the mats, Sensei John Kreese (Martin Kove) is fighting free.
“Some of us have nothing to lose,” he reminds Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio).

Netflix just released the first batch of photos from Cobra Kai season six part two. The new photos show Miyagi-Do out of the Valley and onto a bigger stage at the Sekai Taikai. The photos also provide our first look at Sensei Wolf, played by Lewis Tan (Deadpool v. Wolverine).
“We left off with the big surprise that Tory has joined Cobra Kai, so we’re in the aftermath of that with everyone reacting to what just happened, while also trying to get their footing –– as the new kids on the block –– of this giant international tournament that has been going on for decades. They have no idea what’s in store for them,” says series co-creator Jon Hurwitz to Netflix’s Tudum.

Just when it seemed like modern slasher films were starting to lose steam, the Terrifier franchise stormed in to provide an incredible horror experience, thanks to Damien Leone's phenomenal direction and screenplay. The franchise has firmly established Art the Clown (David Howard Thornton) as one of the most iconic villains of horror cinema, alongside Michael Myers, Freddy Kruger, Jason Voorhees, and many others.
The original Terrifier film was a huge success, generating over $400,000 on a $35,000 budget, but Terrifier 2 took things to the next level, earning a staggering $15.7 million on a $250,000 budget. While the majority of its success may be attributed to the significant rise in the production budget, the controversial bedroom sequence accounts for a large portion of the film's popularity. So, what exactly made it so controversial?

Mental health is a serious subject that requires a great deal of sensitivity and honesty when it comes to representation in popular media, and these TV characters with mental disorders provide a wide spectrum of representation. Many shows and movies have been criticized for their portrayal of mental health, with characters being reduced to two-dimensional clichs that promote damaging stereotypes. Contemporary media has risen to the challenge when it comes to depicting an accurate representation of mental health. Shows like BoJack Horseman gained critical acclaim for explorations of mental illness, as well as becoming iconic staples of popular culture.
Mental illness is becoming less taboo on television. Part of that is because actors and writers are vocal about seeking support for mental health themselves, and encouraging viewers to do so too. Another Cobra Kai actor is ready to join James Gunn's DC Universe. Jacob Bertrand, who portrays Hawk in the Karate Kid sequel series, recently revealed which type of role he'd like to play in the Dcu.
Speaking with Screen Rant to promote Cobra Kai's final season, Bertrand was asked if he had spoken with his co-star Xolo Mariduea who plays Blue Beetle in the Dcu yet about trying to get him a role in the superhero franchise. "No, I haven't quite yet. I would need to get my knowledge up on superheroes first. I was never the biggest comic book kid growing up," the actor admitted.
