Lily Pastré was born on December 9, 1891 in Marseille, Bouches-du-Rhône, France. She was married to Jean Pastré. She died on August 8, 1974 in Bouches-du-Rhône, France.
Inheritor of the families who owned the Noilly-Prat vermouth company, she helped financially many artists and co founded with Gabriel Dussurget the Aix Music Festival in July 1948. Her family was friend with the Rostands and the Charles-Roux.
