The lucky 13th season of Fox’s wild and wacky reality TV show The Masked Singer has been given a release date of Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025. Once again, Nick Cannon returns as host of the whodunnit program alongside the same four judges as the two most recent installments: Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Rita Ora.

Fox has already released high-res photos for the following nine contestants: Ant, Bat, Boogie Woogie, Cherry Blossom, Coral, Fuzzy Peas, Griffin, Honey Pot, Nessy, Paparazzo, Space Ranger, Stud Muffin, and Yorkie. The Masked Singer has featured some of the most iconic singers, including season 12's most recent winners Boyz II Men (Buffalos) and runner-up Mario (Wasp), but I wish the show would have a whole season of non-professional singers. The Masked Singer premiered in January 2019, with host Nick Cannon and panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Nicole Scherzinger. During season 11, Rita Ora took Nicole's place on the panel while the latter star was busy with other commitments.

The Masked Singer season 13 will premiere in 2025, and there's a lot to know about the latest installment of the mystery celebrity singing competition series. The Masked Singer season 1 premiered on Fox on January 2, 2019, and has since become one of the network's most beloved shows. Since the series began, some of the most talented singers have won the Golden Mask Trophy, including T-Pain (Monster), Wayne Brady (Fox), Kandi Burruss (Night Angel), LeAnn Rimes (Sun), Nick Lachey (Piglet), Jewel (Queen of Hearts), Teyana Taylor (Firefly), Amber Riley (Harp), Bishop Briggs (Medusa), Ne-Yo (Cow), and Vanessa Hudgens (Goldfish).

Wednesday Addams isn’t exactly a big fan of Turkey Day. Still, the pigtailed problem child is making an appearance at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, courtesy of a morbid Netflix float.

Flanked by an army of lookalikes, the float features a giant Wednesday presiding over a pile of rotting food and worms, as well as her brother Pugsley with his head on a platter. The float will be accompanied by a performance of the Rolling Stones’ “Paint It Black” by indie-pop artist Bishop Briggs.

Wednesday Addams has long loathed Thanksgiving. In 1993’s “Addams Family Values,” the character (as played by Christina Ricci) is cast as Pocahontas in a holiday-themed play at summer camp. But instead of sticking to the script, Wednesday disrupts the production to call out the historical injustices suffered by Indigenous peoples in the United States.

“Wednesday” super fans have something extra to be thankful for this morning — even if Wednesday herself is none-too-pleased.

Netflix is putting Wednesday Addams in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, which actually streams live on Peacock, not on Netflix.

The new “Wednesday” float will be “accompanied by an army of lookalike Wednesdays” and “a special performance” of “Paint It Black” by indie-pop star Bishop Briggs. We guess the Rolling Stones, who wrote and recorded “Paint It Black” in 1966 were unavailable… for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Wednesday, played by Jenna Ortega in Netflix’s smash-hit series, famously hates the Thanksgiving holiday — especially since she started working at the fictitious Pilgrim World tourist attraction.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade has been around since 1924, and each year, thousands of viewers tune in to see the larger-than-life floats, local dancers, and celebrity performances. Now 100 years since it kicked off, this Thanksgiving’s no different, with Idina Menzel, Jimmy Fallon & The Roots, and The War and Treaty set to appear during the 2024 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Hoda Kotb, Savannah Guthrie, and Al Roker will host this year’s parade.

The first horror family to attend the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade may have been “The Munsters” back in 1964, but The Addams Family eventually caught up a few decades later.

It was in 1991 that the Charles Addams-created Addams Family debuted at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, taking over the short-lived “European Village” float in celebration of that year’s live action movie. Directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, the live action movie had just arrived in theaters on November 22 of that year, a mere six days before the November 28, 1991 airing of the 65th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. And the cast of the film even showed up in full costume, including Christina Ricci (Wednesday), Jimmy Workman (Pugsley), Judith Malina (Grandmama), and Carel Struycken (Lurch), joined by Cousin Itt.

Jack Blocker, Abi Carter, and Will Moseley started the night by honoring mentor Jon Bon Jovi. They took the stage to sing “Livin’ on a Prayer,” followed by “Legendary,” with the artist himself joining the trio.

The three finalists also sang Bon Jovi Songs, with Moseley taking “It’s My Life,” Blocker singing “I’ll Be There for You,” and Carter performing “Bed of Roses.”

In the second round of singing, before the third place winner would be announced, Mosely sang “My Town,” Blocker performed “All My Ex’s Live in Texas,” and Carter interpreted “Somewhere.”
