A tragic loss for both the Utah community and fashion industry transpired this past weekend. Former Project Runway contestant Afa Ah Loo (also known as Arthur Folasa Ah Loo), was shot dead while at the No Kings protest in Salt Lake City. While Afa was bravely protesting for the presevation of democracy and our country's integrity, he was shot by a rifleman who was presumed to be part of a "peacekeeping" group. He was the only fatality at the scene.
It is believed that Afa was an innocent and unintended casuality of the situation, as the rifleman was aiming his Ak-47 at an individual identified as Arturo Gamboa, who was wearing a black mask and all black outfit. Members of this "peacekeeping" collective were not asked to bring weapons to the protest. The rifleman was accompanied by another member of this unit in bringing rifles, and Salt Lake City police...
