Cherry Su
- Actress
Cherry Su was Born in Wenzhou, China. She moved to Vancouver in 2016 to pursue her acting career. She received a scholarship to go to Vancouver Film School's full-time acting program. On top of that, she was also the first student in Asia who got into the full-time program directly and without the need to go through The Essential Program.
After her graduation, she worked on multiple short films (of which participated in film festivals), as well as indie projects including the online TV series: Pin Pals, Young, Single and Black; and Housies. She was also casted on CW network's Kung fu.
Her acting passion also expands to the stage. Her most recent theatre work is as "Forster" in a comedy play called "Out of Order." Since the start of 2022, Su has also been actively involved in Chinese and English stand up/improv shows in Vancouver comedy clubs. She is also part of the house team at the improve center at Granville island.
She speaks fluent Mandarin and English; and believes that it's a Life's journey to pursue the career of acting.
