Banita Sandhu has been cast to play opposite Sesh in the spy thriller form the makers of Major, Kashmir Files and Kartikeya 2.

Sandhu has been making her name in Bollywood through features such as October and Sardar Uddham, and is known for working in Hindi, English and Punjabi.

“This is my first pan-India film and I’m so excited to collaborate with such an incredible, visionary team,” said Sandhu. “It is a role unlike anything I’ve ever done before and I can’t wait for audiences to see me in a completely fresh avatar. ‘Sardar Udham’ is a biographical historical drama film directed by Shoojit Sircar, and produced by Rising Sun Films in collaboration with Kino Works.

Actress Banita Sandhu, who is known for her work in the ‘October’ and ‘Sardar Udham Singh’, has made her relationship with Punjabi music artiste AP Dhillon official. The actress recently took to her Instagram to share an array of loved up pictures with the ‘Brown Munde’ hitmaker.

The photos show Banita and AP turning up the heat. In one picture, she’s on a bed looking at him as he lounges on the floor. In another, things get racy as he helps zip up her dress.

In another frame, Banita can be seen posing for the camera while AP Dhillon can be seen standing behind her. The last frame features AP Dhillon and Banita with their back to the camera while they can be seen holding hands. Banita wrote in the caption, “with me” and dropped a heart emoji with it.

It was a star studded affair at the screening of Indo-Canadian rapper AP Dhillon’s docu-series in Mumbai, where superstar Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, music sensation Harrdy Sandhu were spotted.

AP Dhillon’s rumoured girlfriend and actress Banita Sandhu was also present at the screening.

Known for his chart-topping tracks, Harrdy travelled all the way from his busy schedule to Mumbai to support his dear friend A P Dhillon. This gesture exemplified the deep friendship that exists between the two artists.

Mumbai, July 19 (Ians) Bollywood star Varun Dhawan, who is gearing up for the release of ‘Bawaal’, spoke about prepping for the upcoming Nitesh Tiwari’s movie and also shared a unique anecdote about his 2018 film ‘October’.

During a conversation with Ians at the trailer launch of ‘Bawaal’ in Dubai, when asked about the prerequisites of working in an intense theme, he said: “There’s no comparison, when I did ‘October’, people would ask me how I did it but again it was surrendering to Shoojit dada’s vision at that time and in ‘Bawaal’ the paper had everything.”

“There in ‘October’ I did not get the script because dada did not want me to know about the ending.”

Varun shared in ‘Bawaal’ he was guided by Nitesh Tiwari while prepping for ‘Bawaal’, which has been shot in Paris, Berlin, Poland, Amsterdam, Krakow, Warsaw, as well as Lucknow and two other cities in India.

"Adithya Varma" is the third film based on Sandeep Vanga's stormy ode to misogyny. Frankly, we don't need one more version of the story of an insufferably arrogant doctor who insists on performing operations in a drunken state, pulls a girl out of her classroom and insists she is his girlfriend, and feels his grandmother is the wisest woman in the world (which she probably is).

"Adithya Varma" tries to soften the blows in the other two versions of the film by making the young wild rudderless doctor less of a menace to society and women(in that order). In doing so, it loses it edge and ends up being neither fish nor fowl. It is a film that wants to embrace all of the original's audacity without being held accountable for the trespasses that the other version were held guilty of.
