Melanie Belmonte is an independent film producer, director, and screenwriter winner of several awards at International Film Festivals. Three of her short films 'Matrixfication', 'Bodies', 'Balaam' have been included in the film book "Short Films: A Non-Exhaustive List of Highly Creative Short" (Orlando-Florida, USA, 2023). 'Bodies' was chosen on September 27, 2022 to participate, as an experimental short film, in the XIII Rne Short Film Contest (Spanish Television).
She is Co-founder of the National Association of United Cineart Filmmakers and Artists. Founding Director of Belmonte Cine Arte. General Delegate of the International Femme Filmmakers Festival (London). Member of the Organizing Committee and Jury at numerous International Film and Television Festivals as Cfiff - Changing Face International Film Festival (Australia); Pandora International Film Critics Awards (London) or Marbella Film Festival (Spain) among many others.
In front of the camera, Melanie has worked as a presenter for corporate videos, supporting actress, figurehead, and image model. She is also writer, painter and digital artist.
As a Writer, in 2022, Editorial Amarante publishes her collection of poems 'Catarsis'. In 2020, she won the First Prize of the VI International Contest Microstories Terror Microterrors and the First Prize of the VI International Haiku Contest Matsuo Bashô. Finalist in numerous competitions, her works have been published in more than sixty-five international anthologies. She collaborates in literary and cultural magazines.
