TNT Sports is rebooting its golf event series The Match with a twist: It will pit teams of A-list stars and all-star athletes against each other, in primetime, over the course of two nights, in what it is calling The Match: Superstars.

TNT Sports has lined up celebrities including Bill Murray, Mark Wahlberg and Nate Bargatze, as well as NBA legend and Inside the NBA analyst Charles Barkley, all-time NHL great and NHL on TNT analyst Wayne Gretzky, Olympics legend Michael Phelps, former MLB star Ken Griffey Jr. and former NBA star Blake Griffin, who will team up in pairs for match play.

The Match: Superstars will be held Nov. 21 and Nov. 22, and will simulcast on TNT and Max in primetime. Ernie Johnson will host, joined by 2008 Masters Champion Trevor Immelman, two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson and Kathryn Tappen.

Gurugram, Oct 5 (Ians) A host of young champions are among the 74 golfers, who will set off in quest of a berth in the World Championships and other internationals as they tee up at the first leg of the US Kids Golf India Tour at the Classic Golf and Country Course.

The yardages are all age-specific, as per the international standards of the US Kids, and a unique feature as compared to many of the other competitions in younger age groups. The first leg will be held on October 6 and the second one on October 7.

Nickelodeon is taking a new swing at mixing professional sports with its young audiences.

After broadcasting two NFL Wild Card games aimed at kids in the past two football seasons, the ViacomCBS outlet will next tackle golf. Nickelodeon plans to air a new one-hour special, “Nickelodeon Slime Cup,” that sets four teams of three against each other on a “Nick-ified” golf course with one-of-kind tee boxes, physical challenges, and far-out fairways. Each team will consist of a professional golfer, a celebrity, and a Nickelodeon star.

“We are inventing our own golf match,” says Brian Robbins, president and CEO of Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon, in an interview. “It’s definitely different.”

Confirmed participants include: top-ranked professional golfers like John Rahm, Collin Morikawa, Justin Thomas and Lexi Thompson; NFL superstars Terry Crews, Saquon Barkley and Justin Herbert; and Nick stars Isaiah Crews, Kate Godfrey, Jaidyn Triplett and Tyler Wladis.
