Netflix has shared the first look and premiere date for its highly anticipated miniseries adaptation of “The Fall of the House of the Usher.” The latest from Mike Flanagan the horror series is based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe, where ruthless siblings Roderick and Madeline Usher have built Fortunato Pharmaceuticals into an empire of wealth, privilege and power, but past secrets come to light when the heirs to the Usher dynasty start dying at the hands of a mysterious woman from their youth.

If you enjoyed the dark and twisty first series of BBC drama The Pact last year, you’ll be pleased to know it’s just returned for series two, this time with a brand new cast and a fresh bucketful of secrets ready to be spilled.

BAFTA-winning Rakie Ayola played DS Holland in series one, but this time she’s The Pact’s’ Executive Producer and also takes centre stage as protagonist Christine, a social worker whose family is still recovering from the recent death of her 22-year-old son Liam.
