Hollywood got its game on as the 2025 Espy Awards were handed out Wednesday at the home of the Oscars.

The notable athletes who collected hardware included: Simone Biles, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Shohei Ohtani, Caitlin Clark, Coco Gauff, Ilona Maher, Alexander Ovechkin, Saquon Barkley, and his Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, who were named Best Team in all of sports.

The 33rd ESPYs ceremony was hosted by comedian Shane Gillis from the Dolby Theatre. Winners were selected by fan balloting.

The 2025 Espy Awards honored the best of the best in sports on Wednesday in Los Angeles with the 33rd edition of ESPN’s annual awards show.

Philadelphia Eagles star running back Saquon Barkley, who led the NFL in rushing this year and the Eagles to victory in the Super Bowl, leads all nominees for the 2025 Espy Awards, scoring a leading three mentions Thursday in the honors recognizing the year’s best in sports.

Barkley is up in the category for Best Athlete – Men’s Sports, joined by the Los Angeles Dodgers’ Shohei Ohtani, NFL Mvp Josh Allen and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the newly crowned NBA champs Oklahoma City. Rio de Janeiro, Dec 22 (Ians) Brazilian teenager Andrey Santos is close to joining English Premier League club Chelsea from local club Vasco da Gama, according to media reports in the South American country.
