Thomas Plessis

Thomas Plessis is a media executive and producer. Born in 1977, he began his career in September 1997 as a producer and music programmer at Fun Radio. In March 1998, he joined Radio FG as a host, then moved on to the role of programs director. In 2002 he launched his first consulting and production company: Shingumi (Play 6 SARL). He produced the "Omar and Fred" show on Fun Radio and worked with sound marketing company Mood Media, as well as NRJ, RFI, and Cellfish Media, among others. In 2006, Thomas co-founded the website radiopodcast, the first portal for original podcasts in France. The site was bought by the Lagardère group in 2008. Thomas then joined Lagardère Active Radio International (LARI), where he became Head of Radio Programs & Digital Development, then Programs Director at Virgin Radio France. In 2012, he joined H2O Productions, a company owned by Cyril Hanouna, to launch the show "Touche pas à mon poste" on C8. Thomas was responsible for the show's digital strategy. Since 2014, he has been the Director of Dim Sum Entertainment, which he co-founded with French actor Fred Testot. Dim Sum Entertainment creates and produces programs for the web, brands and also TV. One example is the short program "La bande annonce de Fred" broadcast on Canal + in 2015 and 2016. In August 2017, Thomas Plessis was appointed Director of Digital Business at Lagardère Studios. in April 2021, he became Chief digital officer (Digital originals) and producer at Mediawan. In August 2022, he left the french major production group for new production projects.
