Anthony Velvet Hall was born in Newark, NJ. A product of Newark's Central Ward, Velvet lived there until moving to Georgia at age 16. He would graduate from Baldwin High School in Milledgeville, GA. Velvet would later acquire an Associate's Degree from Georgia Military College and a Bachelor's Degree from DeVry University.
In 2005, Velvet began to wrestle professionally on the independent level - capturing several championships and accolades along the way. During his time in wrestling, Velvet was a southeastern regional finalist for the WWE reality television show Tough Enough. Velvet was also slated to compete in a regional Gut Check competition for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (now Impact Wrestling).
Velvet is fully committed to becoming the best actor he can be. Having taken online Masterclasses from Crystal Carson and studying the Chubbuck Technique through reading, Velvet continue to hone his craft.
