Ali Asadollahi was born in Abadan, Iran in 1979. He received a Bachelor degree in Film Directing, and also graduated from two filmmaking courses taught by Mr. Abbas Kiarostami. He has been making short films since 2001 and worked as director of photography in one feature film and several short films. He is also a professional photographer in Iran, and has been still photographer in several feature films. He's a photography teacher and has had numerous exhibitions of his photography.
