Lee Je-hoon Returns for ‘Taxi Driver 3,’ Mirror’s Edan Lui Joins Cast as Viu Expands Pan-Asian Slate
Lee Je-hoon is buckling up for another ride as the vigilante taxi driver Kim Do-gi in “Taxi Driver 3,” with Viu and Sbs announcing the third season of the global hit series will premiere in Q4 2025. The announcement was made at the ongoing Apos conference in Indonesia.
The streaming platform revealed that the latest installment will debut as a Viu original worldwide, excluding South Korea and mainland China, following the record-breaking performance of Season 2. Je-hoon returns alongside fan favorites Kim Eui-sung, Pyo Ye-jin, Jang Hyuk-jin and Bae Yoo-ram for what promises to be the Rainbow Taxi team’s most dangerous missions yet.
Adding international flavor to the Korean production, Hong Kong boy band Mirror member Edan Lui will make his Korean drama debut as a character who forms an unpredictable alliance with Kim Do-gi.
Writer Oh Sang-ho and director Kang Bo-seung return to helm the series, which centers on Je-hoon’s brilliant yet tormented vigilante.

U.S. AVoD firm Tubi has hired David Salmon to become its Executive VP and Managing Director for International. The UK-based exec will report into Tubi CEO Anjali Sud. He’ll work on building out the business around the world, looking to capitalize on advertiser-funded growth in the streaming world. Salmon has spent more than a decade at Endeavor, where he was the founder and Cto of Endeavor Streaming, the agency’s video tech group. Tubi is currently available in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Ecuador, Panama, Australia and New Zealand, and will be pushing into the UK and further into Latin America under Salmon’s guidance. “Tubi has an industry-leading position in the U.S. and we’re looking to replicate that success across international markets,” he said.

Warner Bros. Discovery China is launching reality TV show “Glow Up China” in mainland China later this month.
Delving into the universe and talents of Chinese make-up artists, the series will launch on leading streaming platform Tencent Video in December at a yet-to-be-specified date.
The 6×60 minute show is a Warner Bros. International Television Production (Wbitvp) format based on a Wall to Wall production for the BBC.
This is the seventh international adaptation of the format and is structured as a partnership between Warner Bros. Discovery, Tencent Video and cosmetics brand Perfect Diary. Warner Bros. Discovery will distribute the show internationally.
“Glow Up China” gives fans a front row seat as eight passionate contestants color and contour in the hope of being crowned China’s next make-up star. Inspired by Chinese influences, cultural elements and local beauty trends, the contestants’ diverse talents will be judged by industry experts Tony Li and Chen Xinmiao.
