In the new Goosebumps: The Vanishing trailer, dad and divorcee Anthony (played by David Schwimmer) has one rule for his twins spending a summer in his Gravesend, Brooklyn, home: Stay out of the basement.
The command naturally leads one curious twin Devin, played by Sam McCarthy, to ask the following: “What do you got in the basement?”
What follows is an uptick in supernatural events: worm-like creatures wriggle around in Anthony’s arm, red sludge overflows from a bathroom sink, and a car begins to steer itself. Goosebumps: The Vanishing...

Disney+ has revealed a new trailer for the next season of their Goosebumps horror anthology series - called Goosebumps: The Vanishing, with David Schwimmer as the poster boy (literally) for this next chilling tale. The Vanishing is an 8 episode mini-series continuation of the Goosebumps series from last year - created by filmmakers Rob Letterman and Nicholas Stoller; based on R. L. Stine's books of the same name. Schwimmer stars as Anthony Brewer, a former botany professor who gets infected. "After his brother went missing with a group of kids in 1994, who local teens believe 'were killed by ghosts,' Anthony looks into evidence from the scene, which infects him with a mysterious symbiotic organism." If Goosebumps is going to have a revival, we are all in for it. So many of us grew up on R.L. Stine’s spooky spines, collecting haunted masks and staying out of the basement. The live-action movies may have run their course, but the series is thriving on the small screen. With strong enough ratings and reviews, word came a few months after the first season’s conclusion that a sophomore season would officially mark it as an anthology. Now, we have the official trailer for what has been dubbed Goosebumps: The Vanishing.
As per Disney, Goosebumps: The Vanishing “begins when twins Cece and Devin Brewer are sent to spend a summer in Gravesend, Brooklyn, with their divorced dad. A threat is stirring, and they quickly realize that dark secrets are among them, triggering a chain of events that unravel a profound mystery. As they delve into the unknown,...

There's just something about the '90s comedy series Friends and the main cast members that still have us hooked to this day! Even after all these years, us fans love to support the actors in the projects they are still doing. And that includes one cast member who is set to star in Goosebumps season 2, coming in January 2025!
Lisa Kudrow recently took the lead in Time Bandits on Apple TV+. Though that's unfortunately been canceled after one season. But, fear not! She does have a dark comedy Netflix series coming soon on Dec. 12, 2024, and that's No Good Deed! Be sure to check the actress out there.
Of course there's also the one and only Jennifer Aniston in The Morning Show on Apple TV+ as well! That drama is as dramatic as ever. And it's so good, we love it. Though it's neither of these lovely ladies who are set...

Goosebumps is coming back for Season 2 on Disney+ and we’ve got details on The Vanishing!
Disney+ (like many streamers) has had a bad habit of canceling some fun shows after just one season: Willow, American Born Chinese, Renegade Nell and even Star Wars: The Acolyte. So it says something that Goosebumps was renewed for a second season over more high-profile shows.
It helps the show has a built-in fanbase, based on the long-running young adult horror books by R.L. Stine. It focused on a pack of teens who are haunted by a twisted spirit that ties into a crime committed by their parents and integrating parts of several of the books. The show was a good success, earning a second season.
However, rather than bringing back the original cast, the series will take on an anthology approach. Thus, Season 2 has a brand new title and storyline, subtitled The Vanishing.

"Do you know what photography means?" "When you break it down, it really means drawing with light." An official trailer has debuted for a short film called A Million Eyes, the latest made by British filmmaker Richard Raymond (Desert Dancer). This first premiered at the HollyShorts Film Festival and is stopping by the Raindance Film Festival in the UK next this month. The short is about a gifted young photographer, grappling with his mother's alcoholism, who sets out to capture something he loves. This stars Elijah M. Cooper as Leroy, with Joe Morton and Katie Lowes. As a photographer myself, I adore this trailer and the way it speaks so lovingly about photographer and the power it has to capture "something you love". Hopefully this short will end up online soon, as I'd love for everyone to take just a moment and watch this. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster...
