Memduh Sevket Esendal was born on 29 March 1883 in Çorlu, Tekirdag, Turkey. He was a writer, known for Behiye (1990), Ayasli ile Kiracilari (1989) and Saide (1986). He was married to Ayse Faide Hanim. He died on 16 May 1952 in Ankara, Turkey.
