Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar lead the nominations this year with four mentions each. There are 35 categories in which fans can vote in, beginning on Thursday.

Green goo and big stars are joining forces once again for the 2025 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, which officially unveiled its host and nominees on Thursday.

Grammy-winning artist Tyla will take the reins as host when the show airs live on June 21 from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

The slime-filled spectacle will simulcast across Nickelodeon, TeenNick, Nicktoons, Nick Jr., MTV2, and CMT, as well as international Nickelodeon channels, where fans can watch their favorite TV, movie and sports stars get covered in green glop.

This year’s nominees include a fresh batch of first-timers such as Gracie Abrams, Zach Bryan, Jordan Chiles, Frankie Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Doechii, Keith Lee, Chappell Roan, Shaboozey, Shohei Ohtani, and Florence Pugh.

Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, and Kendrick Lamar lead the nominations with four each, while Jack Black, Dwayne Johnson, and Jelly Roll follow close behind with three nods apiece.

Nickelodeon has ended its live-action comedy Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan after five seasons and 85 episodes. The decision was confirmed shortly after the final episode of Season 5 aired on April 30.

Nickelodeon Studios is about to begin production on My Weird School, a new feature-length movie based on Dan Gutman’s bestselling book series.

The movie will follow middle school student Aj as he finds himself joining forces with faculty and friends to save the world from an alien invasion.

Production begins in Vancouver, Canada this month. The movie will stream day-and-date on Paramount+ and air on Nickelodeon channels in all markets where available. Premiere details will be announced at a later date.

With more than 100 titles and 35 million copies sold, Gutman’s My Weird School series follows the day-to-day life of wisecracking A.J., his loyal pals Ryan and Michael, and his archenemy, smarty-pants Andrea, as they face a set of wacky teachers at Ella Mentry School—the weirdest school ever.

In the movie, Aj, played by Hero Hunter, hates middle school but he is willing to give it a chance to prove him wrong.

One-Punch Man's titular character being overpowered is no secret to the anime community. He is so powerful that fans enjoy comparing him to the strongest characters from other franchises, and speculating on who might come out on top. Most even claim he can complete his signature one-hit knockout with them. After all, Saitama defeats most of his opponents with a single punch, so it makes sense that a cross-universe matchup would be no different.

However, punching isn't the only attack that the bald hero is capable of. He can actually be quite innovative, bringing out the maximum limits of his strength in seemingly unassuming movements. That said, Saitama's clownish behavior leaves a lot to be desired. In any case, the effects of his attacks are rather catastrophic, especially those that belong to his Killer Move: Serious Series.
