The 2025 Lighthouse International Film Festival (Liff) has unveiled its program for this summer. The local festival, which takes places on Long Beach Island in New Jersey, will run from June 4 to 8, with special features including the U.S. premiere of Kirill Serebrennikov’s 2024 Cannes hit “Limonov: The Ballad” starring Ben Whishaw. Serebrennikov’s English-language debut was an IndieWire Critic’s Pick from the festival last year.
Liff 2025 has not yet announced its opening night feature, but IndieWire can reveal that Uta Briesewitz’s “American Sweatshop” will close the festival. Highlights also range from the Centerpiece screening of “Omaha” with John Magaro and SXSW Jury Award winner “Slanted.” Jason Alexander will be the keynote speaker for the 25th anniversary of his feature, “Just Looking.” Elegance Bratton is also among the filmmakers who will be in attendance; the director is screening his documentary “Move Ya Body: The Birth of House” at the festival.

"Relief Cut" was sold as, and will be remembered as, the episode in which Stellaride decided to start a family. The whole episode was building up to their decision, and the final scene delivered with a twist that well, we have all seen before.
We digress. The episode also had some interesting subplots involving secondary characters. We had major developments in the romantic lives of two 51 members, one negative and one positive. We will start with the negative, which was bestowed upon poor Darren Ritter (Daniel Kyri).
Ritter's boyfriend broke up with him
The character had been dating a police officer for most of season 13, but things were starting to take a turn for the worse by the start of "Relief Cut." So much so, in fact, that he got distracted in the field, and failed to carry out a direct order from Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo).
Ritter apologized,...

A new Chicago Fire episode debuted on Wednesday night but was missing some important characters.
Chicago Fire Season 13, Episode 12 was called Relief Cut, and it was quickly revealed that Kylie Estevez (Katelynn Shennett) was helping out again.
A quick scene between Herrmann and the chief revealed that Mouch would be out for the episode (and the shift).
Mouch is home tending to his wife (Trudy Platt from Fire and Chicago P.D.). She is recovering after being shot during the One Chicago crossover.
Herrmann inferred that Mouch could miss a few shifts, so don’t be surprised if he is absent from the next episode.
The One Chicago shows are taking a quick break before returning with more new episodes this winter and spring.
What happened to Cruz on Chicago Fire?
Cruz is serving a suspension for lying to the chief and hiding what happened in a fire many years prior.

Kidd’s cousin comes to town, and Herrmann searches for a fire hydrant thief in Chicago Fire season 13, episode 12. Here’s a look at what happened in the episode.
Caution: This post contains Spoilers for Chicago Fire season 13, episode 12.
There’s a lot that we don’t really know about Stella Kidd and her family. It was time to find out more, and Severide really understood more about Kidd’s personality. Meanwhile, Herrmann and Kylie teamed up on a hunt for fire hydrants.
This was also a big episode for Ritter. After recently deciding that he couldn’t move in with Dwayne, reality came crashing down around him. It was a stark look at what happens when two people in a relationship aren’t on the same page.

One thing is for sure, the probie is not looking to make friends on NCIS: Origins. For that matter, he seems even less concerned with doing things by the book. Protocol be damned.
Even though the series follows the classic case-of-the-week format, it does an incredible job of integrating everything into the main plot.
Since the cat is more or less out of the bag, we can finally discuss a central plot point of NCIS: Origins. Don’t worry, though – I’ll save it for the end.
(Erik Voake/CBS)
Lord knows there was plenty in this episode to get to.
