‘Tna: Slammiversary 2025’ PPV Review
Image
This year’s Tna: Slammiversary was a wild night packed with surprises, title changes, cross-promotional clashes, and the return of some legendary names. Tna leaned heavily into its multi-brand momentum, delivering a chaotic but memorable show with something for every fan.

The night kicked off hot with Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali renewing their long-standing rivalry. Their intense opening bout saw Alexander hit suplexes on the floor and a top-rope Michinoku Driver into a pile of bodies. But outside interference from Ali’s Order 4 stable, including a reappearing Tasha Steelz, proved too much. Alexander nearly won with a Lumbar Check, but Ali ultimately secured the victory after surviving the chaos and hitting a second 450 Splash.

In an eight-man tag team war, The System, joined by Matt Cardona, battled Nxt’s rising faction DarkState. The brawl began before the bell and never let up. Cutler James shined early, but momentum shifted...

Football star Damar Hamlin gives health update on ‘The Masked Singer,’ as Ken Jeong fights back tears
Image
Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin shocked the world on January 2, 2023 when he suffered cardiac arrest after making a tackle live on “Monday Night Football.” The game was postponed as he was rushed to the hospital, and he slowly recovered for a week until he was ultimately released on January 9. During the “Sesame Street”-themed March 15 episode of “The Masked Singer,” an energetic Hamlin appeared with his kid brother Damir to give everyone a health update (and reveal a clue for the Squirrel).

“The man that brought the whole world together and inspired us all,” declared “Tms” host Nick Cannon as he introduced the Buffalo Bills safety to the audience.

Sports fanatic Ken Jeong could barely contain his composure as he laid eyes on the fully recovered football star. “I’m just so glad you’re here,” the panelist readily admitted while fighting back tears.

The Masked Singer: New Clues About Serpent, Whatchamacallit and More
Image
The Masked Singers are getting fewer and fewer each week — so now that we’re coming up on Season 4’s fifth episode, how are you feeling about the status of your guesses?

Before you answer that, allow us to remind you about this week’s Group B Playoffs, which saw Serpent, Crocodile, Baby Alien, Whatchamacallit and Seahorse digging deep to try and stay in the game. Our favorite performance, you ask? Why it was Seahorse’s rendition of Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On,” which made us want to paint ourselves like one of Jack’s French women in tribute.

Mark Sanchez (‘The Masked Singer’ Baby Alien) unmasked interview: ‘Sharing this experience with my little man’ was the best [Watch]
Image
Former NFL star Mark Sanchez shocked the panelists on “The Masked Singer” Wednesday night when it was revealed the sports commentator was hiding beneath the Baby Alien mask. Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger were way off the mark with their final guesses, which meant none of them earned a point toward the coveted Golden Ear trophy they’re competing for. Watch the Baby Alien’s performance of “It’s Time” by Imagine Dragons above.

“My arm kept cramping up,” joked the former quarterback after host Nick Cannon help him pull off the awkward costume. When asked what he enjoyed most about participating in the singing competition, Mark was quick to respond in his unmasked interview. “Sharing this experience with my little man,” he revealed in a more serious tone. “He knows the words to ‘Faith’ now. He knows...

The Masked Singer Unmasks Baby Alien
Brian Austin Green
The panelists on The Masked Singer appear to be getting worse at guessing as the season goes on.  After they failed to guess Brian Austin Green last week despite getting very close, they didn't even get in the ball park of this week's reveal. Turns out the Baby Alien is former Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez. While the panel was guessing comedians and Broadway stars (thanks to the clue about the Tony Awards stage), they didn't even begin to approach a sports star. Sometimes football players also like theatre, and sometimes they also present awards at the Tonys in 2010. Who knew?  Mark did not explain why he went with the Eastern European accent for the character, but he did say that the best...

‘The Masked Singer’ Reveals the Identity of Baby Alien: Here’s the Star Under the Mask
Image
Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched Season 4, Episode 4 of “The Masked Singer,” which aired Oct. 14 on Fox.

Former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez isn’t known for singing, choreography or puppetry. But for “The Masked Singer,” he had to master all three.

Sanchez, now a college football analyst for ESPN, was the fourth celebrity to be revealed this season on “The Masked Singer.” But he didn’t wear just a normal disguise: Sanchez was “Baby Alien,” the show’s first ever costume that came with a puppet.

“I think that needed somebody that was big enough and strong enough to handle the weight of the costume,” Sanchez said. “Because after wearing it for a while, it wears on you a little bit. It’s like 40 pounds. And it positions itself on your upper chest area and lower back and shoulders, so they needed somebody with some broad shoulders to handle it.

The Masked Singer (2019)
‘The Masked Singer’ Season 4 Reveals Another Celebrity Contestant: And the Baby Alien Is … (Video)
The Masked Singer (2019)
(Warning: This post contains spoilers for Wednesday’s “The Masked Singer.”)

And another one bites the dust. The fourth episode of “The Masked Singer” Season 4 aired Wednesday, ending with another celebrity contestant being booted from the competition and having their secret identity revealed in the process.

On tonight’s episode, Baby Alien, Serpent, Whatchamacallit, Crocodile, and Seahorse all competed during Group B’s playoff round.

After those five Season 4 contestants performed, it was time for panelists Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke, along with the “Masked Singer” super fans voting from home, to choose the “weakest” competitor for elimination.

The one they selected was Baby Alien. He was voted off and unmasked to reveal former NFL player Mark Sanchez.

The full Season 4 lineup of masked contestants include Giraffe (Brian Austin Green), Dragon (Busta Rhymes), Gremlin (Mickey Rourke), Popcorn, Sun, Snow Owls, Serpent, Crocodile, Broccoli, Seahorse, Jellyfish, Mushroom,...

The Masked Singer Recap: Wild Seahorses Couldn't Drag Me Away
Image
This week’s Masked Singer focused its energies on plumbing the contestants’ childhoods for clues, which was ironic, given that The Child… er, we mean Baby Alien, was booted at the end of the hour.

In between the last episode and this one, I had become convinced that Sacha Baron Cohen was behind the tiny extraterrestrial. After all, there’s a new Borat movie coming out soon, and Cohen loves himself some stunt marketing. And what better cover than hiding in plain sight by doing the Borat voice, like Baby Alien did in all of his interviews and clue packages?...

Arena Football League Files For Bankruptcy, Ceases All Operations
The Arena Football League has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and ceased all operations, Afl commissioner Randall Boe said in a statement Wednesday.

“We simply weren’t able to raise the capital necessary to grow the league, resolve the substantial legacy liabilities and make it financially viable,” he added.
