On Tuesday, Julia Haart, star of the hit Netflix series My Unorthodox Life, was seen basking in the glow of a legal win in the bitter battle with ex-husband Silvio Scaglia.

Haart and Scaglia were wed in June 2019. While the two were married, they were co-owners of the business Elite World Group (Ewg) – which represents the largest number of modeling agencies in the world – while Haart also worked as creative director of the luxury lingerie brand La Perla.

When Haart filed for divorce from Scaglia in 2022, he fired her from Ewg. Haart believed that Scaglia had given her half of Freedom Holding (which owns Ewg and their $65 million apartment) in return for her running the firm, but Scaglia claimed that she only owned a fraction of the company. He further alleged that Haart misappropriated millions of dollars from Ewg, but failed to present any evidence to back this up in court.

Haart joined Amanda Hirsch for her podcast Not Skinny but Not Fat, when the actress blurted, “You wanna hear a real mind—? I nursed my brother.”

This comes after Haart left the Orthodox community in 2013, noting that the religion made her question her “entire life – silently, inside.”

“My mother was like, ‘Oh, you’re already nursing your daughter. Take him, too,” said the actress unfazed. “So, I ended up nursing my brother and my daughter. That’s a mindf–k.”

Netflix has renewed “My Unorthodox Life” for a second season.

The show stars fashion executive Julia Haart, who left the ultra-Orthodox community in which she was raised to conquer the modern world. The unscripted series follows her and her four children as they navigate life since leaving their extreme religious Jewish community.

Still a proud Jewish woman, but not religious, Haart is now the CEO of Elite World Group, one of the world’s largest modeling and talent management agencies.

Haart was raised in Monsey in upstate New York where she had four kids after an arranged marriage. She had never been on a first date and did not have a career. At the age of 35, she started to explore the idea of leaving for the outside world by reading books and watching television and movies. Less than 10 years ago, at 43 years old, she decided to leave her community and set out on her own.

The unscripted reality series follows the lives of businesswoman Julia Haart, her second husband Silvio Scaglia Haart, and her four children—Batsheva, Shlomo, Miriam, and Aron— as they navigate life after leaving the ultra-orthodox Jewish faith and the religious community of Monsey, NY where she and her family have always called home.

She now lives a non-religious lifestyle in Manhattan with her youngest daughter Miriam but travels back and forth to Monsey where her youngest son, Aron lives half the time with his father —making for funny moments as a new, sexier Haart swoops into town to visit.

Haart is the CEO of Elite World Group, a modeling agency and fashion company, a world that’ll expand during the show’s sophomore season. The streamer teases fans will find “more fashion, family, female empowerment, faith, fabulousness, and of course, Haart.”

His 3Bmg-backed production company Jeff Jenkins Productions, which is behind Netflix’s Bling Empire, has hired Jay-Staglik as SVP, Development and Current Programming.

It comes after the company’s My Unorthodox Life, a reality series following Julia Haart, Elite World Group CEO and a former member of an ultra-Orthodox Jewish community, recently launched on Netflix and went into its top-ten most watched shows.

Jay-Staglik, who will report to Jenkins, was previously VP, current and development at the Banijay-owned producer. He has served as both producer and showrunner on reality shows such as The Challenge (MTV), Keeping Up with the Kardashians and spinoffs Kourtney and Kim Take New York and Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami (E!), as well as Mariah’s World (E!) and The Simple Life (Fox).

Deadline can reveal that Jenkins is also working with pop star Paula Abdul, former Trump advisor Anthony Scaramucci and Jocelyn Wildenstein, the socialite known for her extensive, catlike cosmetic surgery, as he looks to take advantage of the latest boom in the world of reality docusoaps.

“I like to work with the unique folks out there. They’re harder and harder to find in our homogenized world and it is definitely becoming harder and harder to find fresh, unique, on-camera talent who the viewer is compelled to watch,” he told Deadline.

Netflix has renewed its popular docusoaps “Selling Sunset” and “Bling Empire,” and has ordered two new series from the creators of both shows.

In a blog post on Wednesday morning, Brandon Riegg, the streamer’s vice president of unscripted and documentary series, announced the renewals and series orders. “Selling Sunset” has been renewed for Seasons 4 and 5, while a second season of “Bling Empire,” which premiered in January, has also been ordered.

Both shows follow the lives of the 1% in Los Angeles. “Bling Empire” — from executive producers Jeff Jenkins, Ross Weintraub and Reinout Oerlemans, and showrunner Brandon Panaligan — chronicles the ostentatiously fabulous lives of a clique of Asian and Asian American friends. “Selling Sunset,” created by Adam Divello (“The Hills”) and produced by Lionsgate, follows the high-end realtors at The Oppenheim Group in West Hollywood.

The streamer has renewed Selling Sunset and Bling Empire and ordered two new reality shows from their exec producers.

Selling Sunset, one of the streamer’s first forays into the genre, has received a two season renewal, taking it through season five.

The series, set in the world of high-end real estate in LA, follows realtors from The Oppenheim Group. The cast including Jason and Brett Oppenheim, Chrishell Stause, Christine Quinn, Mary Fitzgerald, Romain Bonnet, Heather Rae Young, Amanza Smith, Maya Vander, and Davina Potratz are all returning. Adam Divello is exec producer of the show, which is produced by Done and Done Productions and Lionsgate.
