Justin Quiles Is Betrayed by a Lover Mid-Money Heist in ‘La Manzana’ Video
Image
Justin Quiles is learning a lesson the hard way in his new video. On Thursday, the Puerto Rican singer premiered the visual for his single “La Manzana” — which sees him getting robbed by his lover following a heist — with Rolling Stone.

The Fernando Lugo-directed cinematic video sees Quiles talking on the phone outside of a barber shop about meeting a woman he really likes and who’s willing to join him in his criminal ventures.

In the lyrics, Quiles describes his love interest — who helps him rob a jewelry store — as his “poisoned apple.

They’re sorry, ok? ? On Thursday, Peso Pluma released his song “Bipolar,” featuring Jasiel Nuñez and Junior H, which captures the trio reflecting on their missteps in relationships with past loves.

The Fernando Lugo-directed video opens with the sound of a piano as Nuñez sings while getting seemingly getting hypnotized using a retrofuturistic machine. Throughout the video, Nuñez is seen floating through the air as he looks back at his relationship.

The strums of the bajo sexto begin as Junior H calls to his love interest before Peso Pluma...

“If I die tomorrow, I’ll take nothing/Everything is temporary, I want to enjoy life,” he sings in the chorus in Spanish. “Not for love nor for money does death stop itself/I learned that those things in life come and go.”

Can we take a second to process what just happened here? Akim and Farruko Want to Find Light in Darkness on New Track ‘Luz’
Image
Haters y Fanáticos, the new album from Akim, is all about displaying the Panamanian artist‘s versatility: He bobs between smooth reggaeton romantico, R&b-inspired melodies, and trap beats. But the most unexpected track just might be “Luz,” a melodic Edm collaboration with Puerto Rican reggaeton mainstay Farruko that explores how to embrace positivity, even in dark moments.

Akim and Farruko released the video, directed by Fernando Lugo, which flashes between the pair singing at a club and standing in a meadow with dancers in matching outfits. The motivational lyrics...

Bad Bunny Hoses Down His Lady Friends on ‘Me Porto Bonito’ with Chencho Corleone
Image
Bad Bunny has been having fun with the videos for Un Verano Sin Ti, the album he dropped last month. On “Moscow Mule,” he dove into his underwater fantasies and transformed into a naked merman; on “Tití Me Preguntó,” he hung out in the Bronx before getting kidnapped and thrown into his own wedding. Now, on “Me Porto Bonito,” a collaboration with reggaeton pioneer Chencho Corleone, he starts off as an errand boy washing cars for a couple of beautiful women before turning the hose on them and joining them at a huge party.

The song is about finally saying goodbye to a relationship. The video, which was directed by Fernando Lugo, was shot in New York City last month. “Hoy te veo diferente, no sé por qué,” Bad Bunny raps in the pre-chorus. “Por fin te tengo de frente, dime qué lo queue.” (In English: “I see you differently now, I don’t know why. Reik and Rauw Alejandro Team Up for Unexpected Collaboration ‘Loquita’
Image
Rauw Alejandro has had a prolific summer after releasing his breakthrough album Vice Versa and collaborating with everyone from Tainy and Yandel to Jennifer Lopez.

Now, he’s teamed up with the Mexican pop band Reik for the unexpected “Loquita,” a slow-paced, popetón romantico that shows off a smoother side of the artists.

The song was written by Reik and the Colombian producer Keityn, and it fits in with the more tempered sound of Keityn’s past songs, like Karol G’s “Tusa” and Maluma’s “Hawaii.” And while Reik...

Image
Farruko has released Premium, containing the dual singles “Oh Mama” and “Xoxa.”

“Oh Mama” (above) features Myke Towers, with a video directed by Fernando Lugo that boasts cars and women. “Xoxa” (below) takes a lighter tone; Farruko and El Alfa give direct nods to Napoleon Dynamite, Rocky, and The Mask over a reggaetón beat.

“Working with Myke Towers is always great,” Farruko said in a statement. “We have already worked together on previous projects. For ‘Oh Mama,’ our flows meshed perfectly and it also allowed me to explore a more...

J Balvin
Sky Rompiendo, Feid, Jowell and Randy Drop Zany New Video for ‘Le Creo’
J Balvin
J Balvin’s most trusted producer, Sky Rompiendo, soundtracks the Latino edition of Wedding Crashers in the video for his latest single, “Le Creo,” or “I Believe Her.”

The jaunty new reggaeton track is sung by fellow Colombian singer and hit songwriter Feid, as well as esteemed reggaeton veterans Jowell and Randy.

Directed by reggaeton favorite Fernando Lugo, the brand-new video is packed with fratty hijinks. Set in an opulent backyard wedding, the bride waits impatiently with the priest at the altar as Feid, Jowell and Randy roll out the groom in a coffin.
