Jack Walterman

Jack Walterman is a writer, director, and producer who has filmed in all 50 States. His work includes MOVE IN DAY (writer/director/producer), which premiered at Midsummer Scream-the World's largest Halloween and Horror convention-and released by The Media Institute for Social Change, a non-profit, Emmy Award winning organization; BREACH OF TRUST (producer) a documentary acquired by Women Make Movies and released by the Los Angeles Times (available on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and PBS World Channel: Local, USA); Austin Film Festival Finalist FATHER BY LAW (producer), starring William Russ (Boy Meets World, American History X) and Annie Clark (Degrassi), Dir. Maria De Sanctis; Directors Guild of America student film award winner LA RUTA (Production Designer) Dir. Star Victoria; Pan African Film Festival winner CODE_SWITCH (1st AD) Dir. Sigin Ojulu; and ReelAbilities' WHEELCHAIR WENDY (Cinematographer & Production Designer) Dir. Shaina Ghuraya. Walterman is considered an actor's director and has performed on stage in London, England; studied at The Gaiety School of Acting - The National Theatre School of Ireland; and served as a teaching artist at the prestigious Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis. Jack holds an MFA in Film and Television Production from the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts.
