Star Wars Subtly Links Obi-Wan Kenobi's Hidden Path To The High Republic
Image
Obi-Wan Kenobi's Hidden Path provides a refuge for Jedi who survived Order 66 and are being hunted by the Empire. The Hidden Path is connected to the High Republic era. The Hidden Path shares similarities with the ancient Path of the Open Hand, a Force cult that aimed to reform Jedi by urging them to abandon their practices.

Star Wars has subtly linked Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Hidden Path to the High Republic era’s storytelling. Obi-Wan Kenobi depicted how hard it was for Jedi and other Force-sensitives who endured Order 66 to survive in the galaxy. They couldn’t use their abilities for fear of someone finding out, they were being hunted ruthlessly by Darth Vader’s Inquisitors, and they were forced to fight through their grief and trauma alone. Obi-Wan himself was in the same boat until a young Leia Organa went missing, and he traversed the galaxy in search of her.

Star Wars: The Grand Inquisitor's Fall To The Dark Side & Order 66 Connection Explained
Image
The Grand Inquisitor, a corrupted Jedi, was seduced by the Sith in the wake of Order 66 after being disenfranchised by the Jedi Order. Ahsoka Tano's departure from the Jedi Order greatly impacted the Grand Inquisitor, leading him to eventually embrace the dark side. The Grand Inquisitor lost faith in the Jedi Order after the Jedi Temple bombing, ultimately leading him to serve Palpatine and become the leader of the Inquisitorius.

Star Wars' Grand Inquisitor had a very dark past as a corrupted Jedi, connecting to both Revenge of the Sith's Order 66 and just before during the Clone Wars as well. Like the majority of the Empire's Inquisitors, the Grand Inquisitor was once a disenfranchised member of the Jedi Order seduced into serving the Sith following the Jedi Purge. To that end, the established canon has confirmed that Ahsoka Tano played a role in the Grand Inquisitor's turn to the dark side.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi Series Brought Back A Clone Trooper Called Nax, But Exactly Who Is He?
Image
When the Disney+ series "Obi-Wan Kenobi" was released in 2022, fans posted all over social media about a certain Clone Trooper that showed up in the second episode. Aside from the fact that it was wonderful to see Temuera Morrison (who has been playing these Clones since "Episode II") appear in this series as a live-action Clone Trooper again, it was an incredibly sad moment. This Clone Trooper was homeless, living on the streets of Daiyu, a very "Blade Runner"-esque place. We only see him briefly as he holds his helmet out and asks for any spare credits so the veteran can get a warm meal. It's been a long-standing problem in the "Star Wars" universe that these troopers have been treated badly, not unlike veterans in the real world, and yet, they've been some of the most compelling characters to come out of the franchise.

Beyond the trooper's disheveled appearance and desperation,...

Link Tank: Doogie Howser Reboot Gets First Teaser Trailer
2307: Winter's Dream (2016)
Nothing is safe from your childhood, including Doogie Howser in our first look at the reboot on Disney+.

“Disney is throwing a lot of things at the wall for Disney+. Sure, a The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series makes sense if you have to do something with the Bucky Barnes character. But Turner & Hooch? Who knows why that was at the top of the heap. Speaking of the top of the heap, Doogie Howser, M.D. was Neil Patrick Harris’ claim to fame before Harold & Kumar allowed him to side-step onto Tony Awards stages and How I Met Your Mother.”

We all know Mutants are headed to the MCU, but they might connect to the universe in an unexpected way.

“That question has been troubling the minds of countless comic book fans since Disney first acquired 20th Century Fox, paving the way...
