‘Double Xl’ producer Vipul D. Shah asked ‘Indian Idol 13’ contestant Senjuti Das to sing her version of the song ‘Ki Jaana’ from his film.
Post her performance, impressed by her singing, Vipul said: “I regularly follow ‘Indian Idol’ this time and the contestants wow me with their voice every single time. I feel they are very deserving. Hearing Senjuti today, I want to release her version of ‘Ki Jaana’.”
Talking about the show, he added: “I love ‘Indian Idol’ because everyone here is self-made including the judges.”
Adding to the conversation, Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha also appreciated her talent and said: “Your performance seemed very effortless and beautifully sung. I felt like I was listening to a finished playback product.”

It was a neck-to-neck competition between the finalists including ‘Imlie’, ‘Anupamaa’ and ‘Yrkkh’ soap families.

Mumbai, Feb 25: Singer Neha Kakkar is giving Rs 3 lakh to the family of a labourer who went missing after the recent deluge in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand.
In the upcoming weekend on the sets of "Indian Idol Season 12", viewers will see showbuz couple Harsh Limbachiyaa and Bharti Singh hosting the show for the first time, for the special episode "India Ki Farmaish", in which the contestants will sing what fans wish.
Before performing on the song, contestant Pawandeep said, "Today, I would be singing the song that has been composed by my father Suresh Rajan. The title is 'Malva mein kaan karu talash' (an Uttarakhandi song)."
"It will be a tribute to those who are missing due to the glacier which broke at Chamoli District, and where hundreds of labourers lost their families," he added.
A family that supported Pawandeep in the show is dependent on a labourer, their only earning member.

TV star Nia Sharma has won Khatron Ke Khiladi: Made In India, beating Jasmin Bhasin and Karan Wahi in the final. The contest was a special edition of the reality TV adventure game show and it was launched earlier this month after season 10 of Khatron Ke Khiladi concluded.
