Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling: Fusion review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and Regina King has won the Soul Train award 15 times. Now that the whole Mlw roster has left the league for the animal shelter, so we’re gonna watch a bunch of rhinos from the zoo, ram each other from an hour.
Match #1: Dominic Garrini def. Zenshi The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
Zenshi shows his quickness against Dom, but once the two lock-up it’s a quick takedown by Garrini. Zenshi however, uses the ropes to flip free, but Dom maintains a grip on the ankle. Zenshi turns it into a pin combo for two. The Chilean star gets another pin attempt, and Garrini prompts him to come at him. Zenshi gets on the mat accepting his challenge, and Zenshi takes him to the mat with a headscissor takedown.

Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling: Fusion review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have…not as much as there should be. Mlw is taking a page (or 7000) from Ring Of Honor and phoning it in towards the end of this year. You’ll see when you read the review. Matt Lauer scares the s— out of me and this review starts now.
Match #1: Invitational Battle Royal – Winner: Grogan The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
Hammer has a lot invested in this bout as “his big gift” Grogan in embedded in the brawl. The first out is Barrington Hughes as it takes a group effort to get the super-heavyweight over the top.
Eliminated: Barrington Hughes
Zenshi faces a very close call against Timothy Thatcher, but the young cruiserweight skins the cat. Dominic Garrini ties up with Savio Vega as Zenshi hangs on one more,...

Match #1: Injustice defeated Gringo Loco & Zenshi – Survivor Rules Match The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
The team of Jordan Oliver and Kotto Brazil are accompanied by newly christened Mlw Middleweight Champion Myron Reed. All three take a moment to run down Thanksgiving and one of their opponents tonight, Gringo Loco. Out comes the aforementioned Loco with his partner for tonight, the ever-innovative Zenshi. Match #1: Low Ki beats Timothy Thatcher
My Opinion: 4.2 out of 5 – This was some great stuff. When you here the phrase “easy as pie” that’s how I feel about this match. There were no issues of two guys struggling to find a rhythm or attempting to make the match look legitimate or any-thing like that. Every-thing here was pitch-perfect to the point that having the match end before it went for six hours felt like a waste. This was one of those fights that had action of some...

Match #1: Gringo Loco & Air Wolf defeated Kotto Brazil & Myron Reed The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
Referee Frank Gastineau does the due diligence of checking Injustice for foreign objects and sure enough, finds a chain inside Kotto Brazil’s jumpsuit. While confiscating that, Oliver hands Kotto those familiar brass knuckles to Brazil, but Gastineau catches such transgressions in his peripherals to take those away as well. The pace and rhythm begin in Injustice’s favor but Gringo Loco hits a standing moonsault to shift the momentum. Air Wolf takes over up against...

Match #1: Jordan Oliver defeated Zenshi The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
Zenshi took down Oliver quickly but the two both go for quick takedowns but one another kept meeting each other in high-flying stalemates before Zenshi successfully landed a running shooting star press. Oliver tried to come off the top rope with a head-scissor takedown but the amazing body control of Zenshi allowed the Chilean combatant to land on his feet. Kotto Brazil took the moment to trip him up so Oliver got an opportunity to strike.

Match #1: Jordan Oliver, Myron Reed & Kotto Brazil defeated Gringo Loco, Zenshi & Air Wolf –Trios Tag Team Match The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
Gringo Loco and Jordan Oliver start things off as Loco uses his unorthodox athleticism before Air Wolf gets the tag, then Zenshi. The two masked men show their athleticism to ground the Injustice down. Loco joins in on the triple team assault before the Injustice clear the ring. Match #1: Alexander Hammerstone defeated Kotto Brazil – National Openweight Championship Match The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
A game Brazil answered Hammerstone’s challenge and used his agility and athleticism to out-duel the Openweight Champ initially, but a big boot to the face leveled the playing field quite literally which allowed Hammerstone to regain control. Kotto managed to capitalize on a major miss by Hammerstone with a satellite Ddt and hit a frog splash, but the hardy Hammer kicked out before even a two count. Match #1: Richard Holliday defeated Kotto Brazil The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
While the night didn’t end well for The Dynasty, Holliday got things started on this week’s show with a victory for his group. Holliday used a size and power advantage to defeat Kotto Brazil, who has apparently healed from his eye injuries. Brazil removed the eye patch that he’s been wearing for months on his way to the ring and competed without it. The extra eyesight didn’t necessarily help the Haitian Sensation, as Most Marketable scored the victory with a gut-wrench powerbomb.

Match #1: Jordan Oliver defeated Kotto Brazil The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
Kotto Brazil faced off with Jordan Oliver, who was making his singles debut in Major League Wrestling. Brazil was still wearing an eye patch thanks to a brawl with Ricky Martinez of Promociones Dorado. Salina de la Renta and Martinez would figure in the match prominently. After a few minutes of competition between Oliver and Brazil, de la Renta and Martinez showed up at ringside and taunted Brazil. Finally, Martinez tried to interfere in the match and Brazil made him pay with a slingshot cross body block from the inside to the floor. But that...

Match #1: Hart Foundation (Teddy Hart and Davey Boy Smith Jr) With Brian Pillman Jr. (New Champions) beat Lucha Bros! (Pentagon Jr. and Fenix) – Major League Wrestling World Tag Team Championship Match
My Take: 2.5 out of 5 – This was a bit too slow for its own good, but it was still good while it lasted. It would seem that Pentagon and Fenix really are leaving Major League Wrestling, as Court Bauer had gone to Twitter and wished them well where-ever they go. Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a violent main event to get to, so let’s get there before Christmas.
Match #1: Kotto Brazil defeated Vandal Ortagun The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:
A few weeks ago, Ricky Martinez attacked Kotto Brazil with a bottle at a Miami night club. Tonight, after weeks of recovery, Brazil was back in the ring. He drew the ever-tough Vandal Ortagun for his welcome back to Mlw. Ortagun was game and took advantage of Brazil’s injury. But in the end, Brazil’s running sliced bread finishing maneuver spelled the end for Ortagun.
My Take: 2 out of 5 – There wasn’t much happening here, but Brazil looked just fine for a match made just for him.
Match #2: Barrington Hughes vs. Ace Romero The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:...

Match #1: Rush defeated Shane Strickland The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:
The former golden boy of Mlw opened the show in the ring with a microphone, berating the Miami crowd and running down the Mlw locker room. Rush didn’t want to hear it, came to the ring, told Swerve off and we had our opening bout. Strickland attacked at the bell and had the upper hand early on. But the tide turned when the action went to the outside, where Rush threw “Swerve” through a set of locked double doors and blasted him with a trash can. While Strickland attempted to make a couple comebacks, in the end it was a Rush Driver that spelled the end for “Swerve.

Match #1: La Park defeated Gringo Loco The following is courtesy of Mlw.com:
In an extremely entertaining and hotly-contested match, Gringo Loco gave La Park all he wanted. The two battled for nearly 20 minutes to open this week’s show. La Park had the upper hand early and of course, there were chairs involved. With Gringo Loco incapacitated on the outside, La Park grabbed a couple chairs from ringside and put them together. He then scored a massive powerbomb, driving Loco onto the unforgiving chairs. Gringo Loco eventually recuperated and rallied. At one point, Loco was able to lay out La Park on the stage/entrance way.
