Biography

Jeremiah Brite was born Jeremiah Justin Brite in Bakersfield, CA on May 28th 1980. He grew up playing sports, participating in the marching and concert bands in middle school and high school. Jeremiah grew up acting in church plays, walked the runway modeling for Sears clothing as a kid. He also attended modeling school right before he joined the military where he served 15 years as a Security Forces member. In his spare time, he would write poetry. Although he tried to give real estate a try, he always knew something about the film industry kept tugging at him. When he separated from the military, he gave IT a shot before realizing that it was not meant for him.

Searching what to do for a couple years after separating, he decided to attend The Art Institute of San Antonio in 2016, where he would go on to study Digital Film and Video Production. He fell in love with film instantly. Since then, he has gone onto assist in other films, slating, gaffing, recording audio or simply being a PA. He then went on to write, direct, produce, shoot, edit and even act in his own films. One of those films is a feature length horror anthology Texas Tall Tales as a producer, director and actor. In his short 2 years of filming, he has gained a reputation as if he has been doing it for years. Filmmaking is where he found his passion to be a writer, director, actor, cinematographer and even an editor. He loves to do it all.
