Anuel AA brings a hint of Miami to Transylvania in the video for his brand-new single, “Keii.” The song is one of many tracks that will feature on his debut album for Sony Music Latin, due 2020.
The Spliff TV-directed video begins in a gothic cathedral, where a striking young bride begins to walk down the aisle. When she discovers that her groom has jilted her, she scrambles out of the church and into the forest. There she finds a fanged Anuel, who ushers her into his vampire underworld. Soon she sprouts her own fangs,...

Dalex and Rafa Pabón’s “Pa Mí” is the latest single to benefit from the ensemble-remix treatment that has boosted recent hits like Nio García, Casper Mágico and Darell’s “Te Boté,” El Alfa’s “Suave” and Alex Rose’s “Toda.”
In the original “Pa Mí,” Dalex sings with stirring force about romantic fixation, sounding possessive to the point of anguish, while Rafa Pabón’s tone is uncaring, removed from it all. Dimelo Flow, who also produces for the singer and hit-writer Justin Quiles, is responsible for the beat, a simple but handsome loop.

On Friday, July 10, 2015, the worldwide music business broadly agreed on something.
Having consulted on behalf of 1,300 record labels, worldwide trade body Ifpi launched Global Release Day (Grd), which united the music biz’s official weekly launch moment for singles and albums to Fridays across the world. There were some dissenting voices. Martin Mills, boss of Adele’s indie U.K. label group Beggars, questioned whether the initiative would “further cement the dominance” of the major record companies. Others argued that their qualms had been ignored; Martin Goldschmidt, the head of British label Cooking Vinyl,...

In addition, while 45 of the Top 100 most-viewed videos in 2017 involved Latin acts, that number rose to more than 50 this year. 17 Latin videos...

The remix to Nio García, Casper Mágico and Darell’s “Te Boté,” a seven-minute, stubbornly skeletal reggaeton single, is a massive hit in the U.S. this year — especially when you consider that the entire thing is rapped and sung in Spanish. In the harsh world of the Hot 100, dominated by hip-hop streaming sensations and pop stars with major-label budgets, “Te Boté” climbed all the way to Number 36. No English? No problem.
