It's pronounced Huh-me-nah. Her friends call her Jimmy (probably to save time). She spent a decade running a NZ production company, producing TV commercials before diving into narrative space. She produced the short I Will Not Write Unless I Am Swaddled In Furs which premiered at Palm Springs and screened at 130 festival globally. In 2019 her first 2 episodes of the Netflix Original Chef's Table premiered at Berlinale. Jimena is drawn to thought-provoking stories that connect with both local and global audiences, or anyone who hits "play."
