Celebrity makeup artist Alexx Mayo has been working with Lizzo for roughly seven years, so he says the Grammy-winning artist possesses “a lot of trust” in the beauty looks he creates for her wide variety of appearances. He calls the ability to create a glam design for this year’s Met Gala with its “The Garden of Time” dressing theme “really a dream come true for me.”

“I gather a lot of my inspiration from botanical gardens, so I was thrilled — nature has the best color combinations,” Mayo adds.

His enthusiasm kicked into overdrive once he saw the dress Lizzo is wearing, a design by Paris-based label Weinsanto. “When you see the dress, there’s this idea as though flowers are being blown by the breeze, and it definitely gives this goddess vibe,” Mayo tells The Hollywood Reporter.

Megan Thee Stallion is safe after her home was broken into. After TMZ reported that two men broke into the 27-year-old rapper’s Los Angeles home on Thursday night, Megan took to Twitter to address the situation.

“Material things can be replaced but I’m glad everyone is safe,” Megan tweeted.

Megan’s social media post came after law enforcement sources told the outlet that two men broke in to the rapper’s home and took more than 300,000 in jewellery, cash and electronics.

Et has reached out to Megan’s rep and the Los Angeles Police Department for comment.

Megan was not home at the time of the alleged incident, as she’s currently in New York City ahead of her turn as host and musical guest on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend.
