James was born September 14 1968 on a farm in rural Tennessee. Between Historical Places of WWI and WWII. The Birthplace of WWI Greatest Hero Sgt Alvin C. York (biographical Movie "SGT YORK" 1941) and the Birthplace of the Atom Bomb "The Manhattan Project" (Biographical Movie "The Manhattan Project" 1986) As as child acted in many local Christmas Plays at Pleasant Green and High Point. Then his interest renewed as a Senior in High School in their production of "NUTS TO YOU" where he played the part of a suspicious husband with a flirty wife who loves the men. His love of TV and Movies at the time and the freedom to develop his character Hammond modeled his role after comedy and serious characters of Larry Hagman even dressing in TEXAS style for the big Party Scene. Then as an adult back in Holiday Plays in the Faith Outreach (FOWC) Easter production Hammond played the Lead "Jesus" in a adaptation of the actual events of the Columbine School Tragedy implementing the full resurrection story. The Crucifixion Scene was so real Hammond's Father in the audience didn't recognize him. First Commercial Acting was in the ABC Studios "LIVE" Production of Home Improvement where Hammond played Al Borland sidekick to Tim the Tool Man. Hammond later met Richard Karn who played Al on the TV series and chatted about the role. Hammond has been Managing celebrities since 2015 from his favorite childhood TV show, and was a citizen at the Mayors News Conference in the movie he negotiated for his client.
