Denzel Curry has announced a guest-heavy new album titled King of the Mischievous South Vol. 2, dropping July 19th via Loma Vista Recordings/Concord. As a preview, he’s unleashed a new banger featuring TiaCorine and A$AP Ferg titled “Hot One.” Stream it below.

A sequel to his 2012 mixtape King of the Mischievous South Vol. 1 Underground Tape 1996, the project pays tribute to Curry’s musical heritage in the South, ranging from Memphis to Houston to his own South Florida. As such, it features artists who hail from or are inspired by the sound of those regions, including A$AP Rocky, Maxo Kream, 2 Chainz, Juicy J, Ski Mask the Slump God, and more. The Queen of Rap is headlining Rolling Loud New York. On Tuesday, the hip-hop music festival announced the uber-stacked lineup for their September festival, with Nick Minaj, Aap Rocky, and Future headlining the three-day event at Queens’ Citi Field.

The Critics Choice Association (Cca) announced that Taye Diggs and Nicole Byer will co-host the 27th annual Critics Choice Awards, which air on The CW and TBS on Jan. 9, 2022 at 7 p.m.

Diggs is known for starring as Sam Bennett in the ABC medical drama “Private Practice.” Other prominent credits include appearing in the film “Brown Sugar” and the original Broadway production of “Rent.” Currently, he stars on The CW drama “All American.”

Byer first broke out with her appearance on MTV’s “Girl Code” and has since become known for hosting the competition series “Nailed It!” and “Wiped Out!,” the podcast “Why Won’t You Date Me?,” and appearing in supporting and recurring roles in comedy series such as “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and “Tuca & Berie.” Most recently, she debuted her Netflix comedy special “Nicole Byer: Bbw (Big Beautiful Weirdo).” Up next, she stars on NBC’s “Grand Crew.”

Rolling Loud will return to New York in October for an expanded three-day festival at Citi Field with headliners Travis Scott, J. Cole, and 50 Cent.

The festival will also feature performances from Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Polo G, Playboi Carti, Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, Wale, Lil Durk, Pooh Shiesty, Ski Mask the Slump God, Nle Choppa, and Coi Leray.
