‘Revenge’ Star Henry Czerny Boards Crave’s ‘Bon Cop, Bad Cop’
Revenge and Mission Impossible star Henry Czerny has joined the cast of Crave’s bilingual drama series Bon Cop, Bad Cop in a lead role. Currently in production in Quebec, Canada, the show has also added Joshua Odjick, Christine Beaulieu, Nathaniel Arcand, Robin Joël Cool and Antoine Vézina to the cast. The series, shot in English and French, is set to debut on streamer Crave in 2026. It will star Patrick Huard and Czerny as officers who team up for an investigation that takes them across Canada after the band chief of an Indigenous community disappears. Several other equally unorthodox cops join them on the search. Jessie Films and PaNik Fictions are making the show in collaboration with Bell. Huard is the head screenwriter and among the directors.

Taking on rogue angels, uncontrollable demons, and sometimes even an angry God, there’s nothing that the Winchester boys haven’t dealt with. Perhaps one of the most popular television sibling duos of all time, Sam and Dean Winchester entertained fans for more than 15 years. One of the longest-running sci-fi/fantasy TV series of all time, CW’s Supernatural garnered a huge fandom in its fifteen-season successful run. Besides its intriguing, and mostly outlandish, storylines, one of the things that kept the viewers stuck to the series was its incredibly alluring cast.
From Dean’s lovable bad-boy persona to Crowley’s zesty sarcasm, the TV series has a truck full of memorable characters who have kept the show going. It’s safe to say that every Supernatural actor has done justice in portraying their role to elevate the plot, but some have done a better job than others, making them unforgettable.

Its almost impossible to imagine that showrunners once thought that Supernatural could only peak as much as five seasons. As one of CWs longest-running series, Supernatural culminated more than a decades worth of storyline. So, its safe to assume that not all of the show's plotlines had enough juice in them to win public approval. Every show with massive and intricate lore goes through a transition thats both hostile and amicable.
Although the Supernatural fandom has stuck by the series low and high points throughout its 15-season run, several storylines and plot holes just didnt cut it for the viewers. From straight-out abandoning key characters to ideas that should have stayed buried, these Supernatural storylines made zero sense.
Introducing Kevins Ghost Kevin Was the Show's Most Neglected Character
Kevin was killed by Gadreel in Sam's body and was deemed as the last prophet.

The Winchesters references something that Dean Winchester did a lot of in Supernatural. In The Winchesters episode 10, “Suspicious Minds,” Mary Campbell (Meg Donnelly) and John Winchester (Drake Rodger) were approached by a former Men of Letters member that claimed he wanted to help them defeat the Akrida. It turns out he was lying about his name and was actually an exiled member. He tried to use them to save his wife.
The man introduced himself as Potter J. Hobbes (Charles Shaughnessy), who used to experiment on monsters. He said that it was mostly turning them into watchdogs (he later used one on John). It was later revealed that he wasn’t Potter. He was actually Jack Wilcox, Hobbes’ assistant. Experimenting on humans got him thrown out of the Men of Letters. Not long after his expulsion, his wife was possessed by the Akrida and left in a coma. He used...

After a tough year for streamers in 2022, the industry as a whole is faced with two major questions as they look to improve their strategies in the new year.
First, just how much has the streaming industry’s bubble burst? And second, can major media companies looking to stem their streaming divisions’ losses find a path forward after the boom in subscriber growth from Covid lockdowns has fizzled out?
“The enthusiasm for streaming among consumers is still there, but I think the assumption that all these platforms are going to continue to grow and add subscribers every quarter is gone,” Hub Entertainment Research founder Jon Giegengack told TheWrap. “I’m not entirely sure why people thought it would go on forever, but we’ve reached the point where that’s not guaranteed.”

While consumers may revolt over HBO Max yanking shows like “Westworld” and “The Nevers” to license them to third-party free, ad-supported streaming television (Fast) services, industry insiders say Warner Bros. Discovery’s latest cost-cutting measures actually plays well to investors.
The move signals that CEO David Zaslav and his team believe “siloing certain assets is no longer the best way to maximize value,” Monroe Capital’s head of media finance Matthew Rosenberg told TheWrap.
“The question has been how do we build enterprise value in HBO Max? Up until now, it’s been let’s just send all of our stuff there,” Rosenberg said. “Maybe the anchor stuff belongs to be siloed, like the DC movies… but for less critical properties, maximizing value to that company could mean licensing it into the market rather than siloing it from within.”

In September, Paramount’s Pluto TV became the first free, ad-supported platform to crack the Nielsen Gauge, the ratings provider’s monthly, all-platform snapshot of TV use. The platform reached 1 percent of all TV viewership in the U.S. for the month, coming in just below HBO Max and ranking among other paid streaming services. The milestone was a coup for Pluto TV but not entirely surprising, says Tom Ryan, head of streaming at Paramount, given the platform’s longevity and content offerings. “I do think that this is the beginning of Pluto being broken out as one of the top players in engagement for U.S. connected TV,” Ryan tells The Hollywood Reporter.

Chickie Donahue (Zac Efron) is already deep in his self-appointed wartime mission when someone finally calls it what it really is: “the dumbest thing I ever heard.” By then, the part-time merchant marine and full-time screw-up is already in the middle of Vietnam and its war. The next step is embracing the idiocy of what’s he done while coming out of the whole damn thing alive.
Peter Farrelly’s “The Greatest Beer Run Ever” is his first film since he won Best Picture for “Green Book,” a film embraced by audiences and maligned by critics. This one hits many of the same beats as that divisive feature, though with a lighter touch that strives more boldly to marry his comedic sensibilities and the reality of a painful history.
