During Amazon’s annual upfront presentation, MGM+ and Prime Video unveiled a first-look image from the eagerly awaited Spider-Noir series coming in 2026. The image showcases Nicolas Cage in the iconic suit.

Spider-Noir is a live-action series based on the Marvel comic Spider-Man Noir. Spider-Noir tells the story of an aging and down-on-his-luck private investigator (Cage) in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero.

The Spider-Noir series will be available in both black and white and color on the streaming services. It is produced by Sony Pictures Television exclusively for MGM+ and Prime Video.

The cast includes Academy Award-winning actor Nicolas Cage, Emmy Award-winning actor Lamorne Morris, Academy Award-nominated and Emmy Award-winning actor Brendan Gleeson, Abraham Popoola, Li Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez, and Jack Huston.

After dropping a first look photo earlier today, the first official teaser trailer for Spider-Noir has found its way online, offering a sensational sneak peek at the upcoming Nicolas Cage-fronted series that is set to arrive on our small screens in 2026.

The synopsis reads, "Spider-Noir is a live-action series based on the Marvel comic Spider-Man Noir. Spider-Noir tells the story of an aging and down on his luck private investigator (Cage) in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero."

As per the official press release, the series will be available to watch in black and white and in color. It will debut domestically on MGM+, then launch globally on Prime Video the following day in over 240 countries and territories.

At its annual upfront presentation Monday, Amazon gave a first look at Spider-Noir, the upcoming Spider-Man installment coming to MGM+ and Prime Video in 2026.
