Born in Ottawa, Ontario, Laila Kharouba is an actress and singer-songwriter (also known as "Laila") of Palestinian-Canadian descent. Laila's music has been played nation-wide on CBC Radio, and celebrated at the Toronto Pride Festival. Laila graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the Queen's University Dan School of Drama and Music, where she studied theatre and film.
