Syed Ahad Hussain, also known as Addy Hussain, is a Pakistani-American actor, director, and producer recognized for his work in international cinema, voice-over, and socially conscious storytelling. He made his television debut as a child in the acclaimed Pakistani serial Bhanwar (1985), mentored by his father, veteran actor Syed Arshad Hussain, best known for iconic PTV serials including Khuda Ki Basti, Fifty Fifty, and Barzakh.
Addy began his professional career as a voice-over actor, bringing to life leading characters in high-profile Turkish dramas dubbed for South Asian audiences on Express, Urdu 1, and Geo Television, including Medcezir, Yaprak Dökümü, and En Güzel Hikayem. He later gained wider recognition for his supporting role in the Oscar-nominated Bollywood film Baby (2015), directed by Neeraj Pandey.
Trained in classical voice and stagecraft at Pakistan's National Academy of Performing Arts under Zia Mohyeddin and Talat Hussain Warsi, he expanded his career internationally with stage and screen performances in the U.S. and UAE, including 44 Plays for 44 Presidents and You Can't Take It With You.
Multilingual in English, Urdu, and Hindi, with working proficiency in German and Arabic, Hussain continues to bring a global perspective to his acting and production work, bridging cultures through film, stage, and voice performance.
