Mara has a degree in Journalism from PUC-RJ, with postgraduate studies in Entertainment Project Management from FGV-Rio. She has attended specialization courses of study in Cinema at UCLA and at the American Film Institute. Mara has experience in creation, development, fundraising, and executive production for projects in different formats and genres. She was responsible for the creation and executive production of over 40 TV projects. Mara was also responsible for the creation and production of the GLOBOSAT WRITERS PROGRAM, a workshop which brought to Brazil names like Robert Mckee, Martha Kauffman (Friends), Anthony Zuiker (C.S.I.), and Darren Starr (Sex and the City).
