Rene Rubiella was born on 1 September 1928 in La Ciénaga, Las Villas, Cuba. He was an actor and writer, known for El derecho de comer (1968), Mundo Real (1974) and Anacaona (1979). He was married to Estrellita Cruz. He died on 25 July 2010 in Puerto Rico.
