Selena Quintanilla: Net Worth, Age, Height & Everything You Need To Know About The Late Singer
Image
Selena Quintanilla, "Queen of Tejano Music", had a net worth of $5 million at the time of her tragic death in 1995. Her money was managed by her father, leading to a legal battle between her husband and family over her estate. Selena, a confident Aries, is celebrated nationwide every year on her birthday, April 16, by fans.

Selena Quintanilla, "Queen of Tejano Music", the "Tejano Madonna", and arguably one of the greatest Latino artists of all time, had a net worth to match, one that she tragically never got to fully put to use. Known simply as "Selena", the popstar from Texas was a music sensation, with several Spanish-language hits, including "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom," "Amor Prohibido," and "Como La Flor," songs which made her a crossover hit Spanish and English-speaking fans loved. Tragically, Selena's life was cut short when she was shot and killed by Yolanda Saldvar on March 31, 1995.

Why Kathryn Hahn’s ‘Tiny Beautiful Things’ Role ‘Really Did Feel Like an Act of Service’
Image
This story about Hulu’s “Tiny Beautiful Things” first appeared in the Down to the Wire: Drama and Limited Series issue of TheWrap’s awards magazine and was conducted before the SAG-AFTRA strike.

The messiness of her Emmy-nominated role of Clare Pierce was part of what attracted Kathryn Hahn to “Tiny Beautiful Things,” the eight-episode drama series that was adapted from Cheryl Strayed’s 2012 novel based on her own experiences taking over an anonymous advice column in a literary magazine.

The series, created by Liz Tigelaar for ABC Signature, Hulu and Hello Sunshine, braids together Clare’s adult, teenage and childhood timelines, sketching a portrait of a woman in her 40s who is at loose ends after a painful divorce, but also flashing back to her younger self abandoning her dreams of becoming a writer in the aftermath of a traumatic childhood and the loss of her mother to cancer.

‘Tiny Beautiful Things’ Cast and Creatives Toasted By Variety, ABC Signature and Hulu at Los Angeles Premiere
Image
The stars and creatives behind Hulu’s “Tiny Beautiful Things” celebrated the premiere of their upcoming show at an ethereal and intimate event, presented by Hulu, ABC Signature and Variety.

“Tiny Beautiful Things” stars Kathryn Hahn as an anonymous and revered advice columnist whose own life is falling apart. Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern are among the executive producers behind the buzzy show, which begins streaming on April 7 on Hulu.

Adapted for television by Liz Tigelaar, “Tiny Beautiful Things” is based on Cheryl Strayed’s New York Times bestseller of the same name, which is comprised of a collection of essays from Strayed’s “Dear Sugar” advice column, which she wrote anonymously more than a decade ago.

At the Los Angeles premiere, Tigelaar and Strayed walked the purple carpet, adorned with bright florals, to discuss their latest project.

“Once I sat down to figure it out, it was beyond what I had dreamed.

Returning with its second and final set of episodes in May, Selena: The Series followed the late Mexican-American singer from her childhood through her rise to fame, as the most successful female Latin artist of all time, watching as she and her family were forced to make life-altering choices, during her journey to the top.

Creatives from the show joining Zamora for today’s pre-recorded conversation were EP Jaime Dávila, Christian Serratos, who portrayed Selena, and actor Ricardo Chavira, who played her father, Abraham.
