Disney+ has landed exclusive live streaming rights to the UEFA Women’s Champions League soccer tournament across Europe in a five-year pact covering the 2025/26 through 2029/30 seasons.
The deal makes Disney+ the sole destination for all 75 matches in the competition, with coverage launching in October alongside the tournament’s new 18-team League phase format. All matches will stream live at no additional cost to subscribers through the 2026 final at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo.
ESPN will handle production duties for Disney+, providing multi-language commentary and pre- and post-game programming. The sports network brings four-and-a-half decades of broadcasting experience to the project, having recently added UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League coverage to Disney+ in Denmark and Sweden.
The announcement builds on Disney’s existing partnership with UEFA through the Playmakers program, which has introduced over 132,000 girls aged 5-8 to soccer across 6,300 centers in 46 countries since 2020. The initiative, recently extended through 2027, employs nearly 8,000 coaches.

Queen of Tears has been 2024's biggest K-drama so far. Success factors include writer Park Ji-eun and Kim Soo-hyun/Kim Ji-won's performances. Love Next Door, starring Jung So-min and Jung Hae-in, could be this year's "next Queen of Tears."

Look now, I’m as excited as the next person for all things Kim Seon-Ho, but the way The Tyrant banks on his popularity and then gives him about 5 minutes of screen time simply baffles me. Just because someone is ostensibly the “main” character of the show doesn’t mean you’ve got yourself a Hannibal Lecter who can show his face for 15 minutes and win an Oscar for it. Oh, Kim Seon-Ho is great in the show; we don’t even get to see his dimples, but there’s no plot to carry his wonderful acting; that’s the point I’m trying to make here. I went into The Tyrant completely blind, and so I had no idea it was made by the same people who made the movie The Witch Pt. 1: The Subversion. Though if I had known, I don’t think it would’ve made...

After two back-to-back K-drama sensations, Healer and The K2, Ji Chang Wook took a break from action dramas because the stunts he does on a regular basis were taking a toll on his body.
