Sixty percent of TikTok users say they’ve visited a new place after seeing it featured in travel content. That’s a pretty significant figure–and it’s indicative of Gen Z’s growing thirst for travel, which content platforms, brands like Southwest, and new media companies like Lost iN have recognized could be a significant driving force in sales of plane tickets, hotel stays, and package holidays.
Turns out the country of Switzerland also recognizes this thirst, because it recently partnered with Creator Camp to bring 80 creators to the alpine resort village Saas-Fee, a location its Tourism Director for the Americas Claudio Zemp says hasn’t gotten as much attention from spendy American travelers as Switzerland would like.

"You used to think I was the funniest person in the world..." Variance Films has unveiled an official trailer for the indie comedy The Adults, which initially premiered at the 2023 Berlin Film Festival earlier in the year. It's also playing at the Tribeca Film Festival next in June before opening later in August. The second feature film from filmmaker Dustin Guy Defa after Person to Person, which also starred Michael Cera. The plan to make a trip back home as short as possible begins to unravel as Eric finds himself struggling with balancing the challenging relationship with his two sisters and his addiction to a local poker game. A film about not wanting to grow up. Berlinale describes it as "a shrewd study of the pitiless condition known as adulthood." Starring Michael Cera as Eric, with Hannah Gross, Sophia Lillis, Wavyy Jonez, Anoop Desai, Kyra Tantao, Kiah McKirnan, & Simon Kim.

Last week, City Harvest, New York City’s first and largest food rescue organization, presented The 40th Anniversary Gala: House of Harvest, hosted by actor, model and producer Tyson Beckford, with décor by world-renowned celebrity event planner Colin Cowie.
The evening raised enough to provide more than 9.6 million meals for New Yorkers in need as they continue to grapple with record-high food costs, the end of federal aid programs, and the continued economic impacts of the pandemic.
The event honored the organization’s longtime Board Chair Jim Kallman and City Harvest’s frontline workers who were at the forefront of the organization’s work to help feed New Yorkers in need at the height of and throughout the pandemic. These frontline heroes helped rescue and distribute nearly 300 million pounds of food for New Yorkers across all five boroughs between March 2020 and June 2022 in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
