Blue Fox Entertainment will be giving the PG-13 sci-fi adventure Xeno a theatrical release in the U.S. and Canada on September 19 – and today, they have unveiled a trailer, key art, and stills for the film, which was produced by Kevin Hart and his global entertainment company Hartbeat. Free Comic Book Day 2023 Titles Revealed By Marvel

Marvel didn't waste much time in revealing what fans can look forward to when Free Comic Book Day rolls around in May 2023. The publisher has shared the first wave of titles that can be picked up next year, including "Avengers/X-Men," "Spider-Man/Venom," "Marvel's Voices," and "Spidey & Friends.

This superhero team will be tested in the third season of the DC's Stargirl TV show on The CW. As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a series like DC's Stargirl is cancelled or renewed for season four. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustrated when their viewing habits and opinions aren't considered, we invite you to rate all of the third season episodes of DC's Stargirl here. *Status Update Below.

The CW is losing another show. “Stargirl,” the channel’s teen superhero drama, will conclude with its ongoing third season, IndieWire has confirmed.

The show, which airs on Wednesdays, premiered its third season in August. The final episode will now premiere on December 7.

The news comes shortly after The CW was acquired by station group Nexstar, in a deal that has been accompanied by several cancellations and endings for many of the network’s series. In May, ahead of the official deal, the channel canceled over half of its scripted programming lineup. Nexstar officially took control in October, with plans to retool the famously unprofitable channel to focus on acquired programming and cheaper original series. The change was accompanied by CEO Mark Pedowitz stepping down from his post after more than a decade at the channel.

“Stargirl” will come to an end at The CW with Season 3, Variety has confirmed.

The DC series is currently airing its third season, with the finale set to air on Dec. 7. This is the latest CW scripted series to announce it will come to an end following Nexstar’s completion of its acquisition of The CW in October. It was most recently announced that “Nancy Drew” would end with its fourth season, with both “The Flash” and “Riverdale” also coming to an end. The CW also canceled many of its scripted originals back in May.

“Stargirl has always held a special place in my heart for many reasons,” said series creator and executive producer Geoff Johns. “With all the brewing changes at the network, we were aware this was possibly the last season, so we wrote with that in mind and have delivered what I believe to be the best season of Stargirl yet,...

The series, created by Geoff Johns, stars Brec Bassinger as high school student Courtney Whitmore, the character that started Johns’ career as a comic book writer when he created her in 1999, inspired by his sister who was killed in a 1996 plane crash.

What Happened This Week

There has been a murder in Blue Valley and in a town of villains, the list of suspects never seems to end! This season of Stargirl is focusing on Courtney trying to redeem these villains and helping them become responsible citizens but it’s difficult to reform when they have been bad for so long. What Happened This Week

Stargirl is finally back and based on the CW being sold to a new company, this might be the last season of this wonderful series. We have some changes this year as the always funny Joel McHale is now a regular cast member and mentor to Courtney and after last season’s joining of forces to stop Eclipso, a majority of Stargirl’s enemies have stuck around in Blue Valley in an attempt to reform for their past actions.

There will be a new voice for Thunderbolt when DC’s Stargirl returns for its third season on The CW this fall, as prolific actor Seth Green is set to take over the role. As reported by TVLine, the Robot Chicken creator will be replacing Jim Gaffigan in the role of the mystical, wish-granting genie, which made his debut in Season 2. Green, known for his acting roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the Austin Powers movies, has voiced characters in numerous shows, including Family Guy, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. The character of Thunderbolt appeared in two episodes of the second season, including the finale, which saw the mysterious being help Mike (Trae Romano) and his friend Jakeem (Alkoya Brunson) in their fight against Eclipso, turning the big bad into literal toast. What Happened This Week

We are at the halfway point of season two of Stargirl, but this episode felt more like a season finale than just a regular episode! Stargirl has been lacking in the action department all season, but this episode delivered an action scene that took up half the episode and truly delivered some compelling combat between our heroes and villains.
